Amazon, Play or Steam. High street prices are just too high, even eBay is sometimes a better place to look than there.

For me it's always Amazon. I'm surprised you didn't put Steam as a poll option though. I'm sure a lot of people on this website have Steam accounts and you only put 6 options. it might be useful telling you that I very rarely buy games new.

I buy my games from a web store in England(I live in Sweden). The prices are over 50% cheaper than here, so I save tons of money by doing that!

I do buy lots more games than I normally would, though.
Video games are even cheaper in the USA and, if you have a PS3, nearly every one of its games aren't region-coded. I can understand if you have an Xbox 360.

Game.co.uk

I live in the UK, they deliver within 2 working days for free and they're very reliable. They have almost every game I can think of and the others are usually old games that I can get off Play.com.

Gamefly: I always like to rent a title before buying and if it's any good, I keep it. The prices are way better than gamestop's used prices (which isn't really saying much), but I also get a 10% discount for being with them for a while (I think I got that after a year) and they give me $5 off coupon every few months.
If I'm buying used outside of GF, I usually go with amazon. They have the best prices.
It's amazing how many people shop at gamestop. I can't even stand walking into the one by me much less waiting on line and trying to buy something there.

The internet, since it's cheapest. Mostly Steam, or a danish shop called 'Coolshop'.
If not, I buy them at Stereo Studio (also a danish shop, though this one is physical)

I'm increasingly buying games from Amazon due to being able to avoid sales tax which saves a couple of bucks, even if it takes longer with free shipping.

I'd prefer to buy from Gamestop, but as time goes on I have the need to cut the corners so to speak.

Not everyone lives in the US

I go to CEX, lots of second hand games, and sometimes you come accross a gem. Ditto with charity shops.

Otherwise wherever a game is the cheapest.

Well, since I don't live in the US and don't have access to any of those stores, I just buy at the local import store. It's a small store that imports all console games, and the prices aren't THAT different from the US. So if a new PS3 game costs US$60, I'll pay US$70-75 for it.
