Quick question, where do you think GTA VI should be set? I know this is some way off, and that Rockstar will probably do their own thing anyway, but it would be nice to see where we, as a community, want to go next.

Los Santos is not on the list due to it being the setting of GTA V. If you have a new idea, you can post a comment below.

Vice City cause I want to see how it is now compared to well, GTA Vice City. Or London cause it would be very interesting. Also cause I want to ninja everyone who will say that cause I bet many (and hopefully am not being ninja'd as I type this)

And I don't count Ezekiel cause he just said Europe.

Ok, the poll, whatever, I lose >.<

I'm sick of grid plans in city games. It's a boring way to design an open world. America is all grids. Let's go to Europe, where the streets have no rhyme or reason. A fictional European city with surrounding countrysides. You'd play the American or British tourist, giving Americans and international fans who followed the series something to connect with.
Cousin de Bonjour, laissez-nous aller bowling.

In all seriousness, that would be a cool idea. Milan would be a cool setting.

What I hope they do for GTA VI is just keep expanding on GTA V's map. Really does a GTA VI need better graphics? Or better physics? GTA V is pretty great by those standard. Really just maybe some better character creator options for online.

No what I'd love to see is the map expanded, with basically the US made of up GTA cities and states. For example adding one at a time San Fierro, Los Venturas, Vice City and Liberty City. Having the character able to fly from Liberty city to San Fierro or road trip if they want. You could have the system from GTA V with multiple protagonists but instead have them starting in other cities and getting involved in each others plot lines.

The same thing could apply to the inevitable GTA Online component. It would be neat to choose a city to live in. Or have apartments in each if you can afford it.

Yeah, but then police chases would require planning and knowing the game ... and who has that patience anymore? I'm reminded of this image....

also worth noting that half those streets are one way while another 10% are closed to traffic.
lived in N.S.W most of my life and for a non city dweller I still get anxiety attacks whenever I have to venture into the city.

Washington DC or Boston might be a really good place; Imagine sabotaging Boston Tea Party Reenactment to steal on actual drug, fly around the white house to be hunted down by FBI, parachute onto the top of Washington monument, or steal shit from Smithsonian museums.

Rio de Janeiro. It's got lots of windy, tricky roads, lots of crime, a distinctive location, a strong cultural setting. It's got everything you could want for a GTA game. It might even interest me enough to play it, and find GTA games to be a bore generally.

I'd like to see a GTA game set in Texas where you could cross the border into Mexico. Sicario the game, basically.
