I'd race to the supermarket, grab whatever fattening goods I could, then go to my friends house and get in his panic room. It's safe, small, and ideal.

The choices presented are kinda vague. The supermarket has glass doors, but theres plenty of stuff to barricade the entrance. The mall is just so big that it doesnt seem very practical to hide there and the only food would likely be in the food court. My home could be barricaded, but if I run low on provisions, Id need some way to escape. Wal-Mart may be a good choice for the same reason as the supermarket, if its a supercenter that is, which sells food. And theres likely a home garden section for some chainsaw action. But I really believe that the whole Alaska idea is the best you can go with. The zombies would likely die before they could get to the Canadian border. Either by starvation or the frigid weather conditions. Its a chance, however, that the zombies attacking during this time arent like the regular zombies we know and love. We have seen some variations in today's videogames that are much different than the traditional zombie. Some may have different qualities which could make them more capable. But yeah, I'd run.

Wasn't this thread done already? Actually I think the first priority will not to be eaten by zombies (if dawn of the dead and left 4 dead has any bearing to real zombies) and supplies will actually become secondary. So I think anyplace that has a lot of guns and defensible barriers would be ideal -- hence a gun shop (with all of the security bars) or a military base. Costco or malls will be great, but will the doors stop like 1000s of zombies ramming on it 24/7? Oh wait, they did that on the last dawn of the dead movie...

Personally, I wouldnt hide. I would get all the guns i have and all my friends together and we would make a stand on top of a house

I'd stay in my house-it's far enough away from downtown that hordes wouldn't be too much of a problem, I have a year's supply of food in the basement, and I'd have my doggies and kitties (they'd be a drain on the food supply after the pet food ran out though-maybe they can be emergency rations?). Also I know the neighborhood, so plenty of places to run from and to trap mindless zombies.

where the option for nuclear-bunker. there is one about 1mile from me which is now empty and used for storage but was designed (and still is) to accommodate 150 people for 2months. or i could go to the bomb bunkers about 2miles away which are now used to hold fireworks . or if both fail i could go to either the hangers (2 level big ones ) or the old military train station.

BTW this does exist

I think building your own stronghold would be the most logical choice. A 3 story house, the entire first floor is baricated, the stairs/elevators ar blown up. The only way to get to the top floor, is climbing a long ladder, witch are being pulled in for the night. The entire yard is filled with fibre wire, spikeholles and landmines. And just in case, there should be a panic room on top of the building. I think i could feel preety safe then.

I'd gather up all of my guns, emergency supplies and get the hell out of the city which I would imagine would rapidly turn into a zombie filled death-trap.

I actually know of a decent cave out in the sticks that could be hidden in, I'd probably end up going there.

Isn't that off red vs blue? Not surprising off a thread like this.

I would go to a Shopping Centre called Ankerside. It has an Argos, a Mobile Phone shop, a Sex shop (Just in case of only 2 people left on earth) and several other shops like Iceland and bakeries.

A mall... because that's always worked out so well ;) but seriously somewhere remote that has a lot of supplies and weapons... perhaps a mountainy area and Army bases are never a good place to go purely because that's where the governments secret evil super zombies of death hang out.

I still go for Alaska (if I could ever reach there) no zombies could ever reach you. Don't have to worry bout a thing (except the cold and food storage)
