Poll: where would you hide in a zombie apocolypse?

My house is big enough and we have two rooms stockpiled with food. Plus the weapons I own, which I have guns, swords, daggers, and ect... Anyways I have sheet metal, 1/4" thick. I'd block my windows outside and inside with it. Ration food and get rid of everyone else cause they piss me off. 'Cept my girlfriend, for sanity and help(shes an amazing shot). Plus I have a 1997 Ford F-250 Twin-turbo Diesel, 8' bed, crew cab, which I can easily make a tank or close enough. Also I have a wood stove and a propane stove so I could cook and heat the house. Oh yeah I have a garage. Sorry I went on forever, but I think you get the idea.

EDIT: Sorry forgot the three generators, one for the fridge, one for the computers, and one for tvs and game systems.

Why do people think a Katana is a good weapon for fighting zombies with? It really isn't when you think about it.

The orchard I would live on has these high powered hoses. I could use them to blow back the zombie hordes. Wouldn't have to get near the zombies either.

My reason is not enough to explain why? WHat would YOu then say is better huh? And it has to be reasonably attainable, so no flamethrowers or rocket launchers unless you for fact have on in your house which I doubt. A properly made katana is capable of slicing through flesh easily and requires no ammo and assumign these are the stereotypical zombie, you dont need skill weilidng it as long as you know not to stab yourself.

Think about it. It's not as easy to swing around a katana as you think. Even a sharp katana can not easily cleave through solid bone. Also keep in mind that you can only target one zombie with a katana. Sure you may slice open one of them but then 2 more will grab you before you can retract the blade. The best weapons fro dealing with massive hordes are ones that have crowd control capabilities.

Also you can make some effective weapons at home. It's easy to make a Molotov Cocktail. Also how does one easily obtain a katana?

Anyways zombies eventually would be found in packs because zombies that go alone will be killed easily. However the zombies that group together will remain a threat and survive.
