Poll: Which Combat Role Do You Play

Sniper/recon. In most games I'm a quick and accurate shot, I've got good reflexes and a good long-distance eyesight for spotting things. I like taking out the important people, like Medics in TF2 or Scouts who think they can run away with the flag. Nothing's more satisfying then shooting a Medic who júst wants to use his Ubercharge, or headshot a Scout in mid-air.

Depends. In Battlefield I change my class as am needed. Say I'm running forward as a rifleman (soldier), if I see a tank approaching one of our capture points then I die I will respawn as an infantryman (a mix of heavy and engineer). If I get cut down by machine guns or snipers I choose scout and get rid of them by sniping. It entirely depends on the situation for me.

In general I mix it up a bit too. I usualy say I go as the normal troops on the frontline but occasionaly like to mess arround sniping and playing with the more havy weapons. Anyway I'm a soldier type slightly more often than any of the others so that's what I chose!

Well, let's just put it this way. Whenever I'm playing my friends at Halo or COD4 there are always a fair few instances of them bellowing "SNIPER WHORE!!!" into my ear.

Usually, I take any sniper roles that are present, regardless of the game - if it has a sniper rifle, I'll grab one and use it.

Otherwise, I just go for the soldier option - get weapon, run, shoot weapon, die, respawn, repeat.

Im normaly the guy who goes for the impracticaly large weapons such as the Rocket launcher or the flamethrower, soldier in Tf2, I just love lunching pyros in the air then having them meet an other rocket as they hit the floor. Although I also play the scout, running in doing as much damage and then trying to get out alive.

When it comes to games like DnD (table top) I currently play a monk, doing a lot of damage at a time although with quite a low accuracy.

I am normally what i call the stealth assassin role.I sneak behind enemy lines into a good position and cause total chaos as i slowly stalk up and down the enemies territory silently taking people out.

Seriously depends on the game. I do love sniping, but only if its done right and not used as a normal combatative weapon, but a stationary one up to and including 1km away. after that im just cannon fodder grunt, give me some sort of weapon and ill take em down till i die.

I'm a sniper or a glass wall, whichever I feel like.
By Glass Wall, I mean that when I die, I'm going to take about 6 or 7 people with me once I start shattering.

depends on situation, but i prefer having a weapon that deals great amounts of damage in a short period of time and i suck at playing sniper.

i use powerful short range weapons and run around the entire battlefield...

usually in most games the medic class is asigned a shotgun so i generally go him and then heal peeps... lol
