Poll: Which console will have better exclusive games in 2011: PS3 or 360?

Agreed: Also, Most of the games I'm really excited about which are coming out this year are multiplatform like Bioshock Infinite, Mass Effect 3, Duke Nukem: Forever and, Skyrim.

I chose the 360 though because I like the controller better. It's also a friendlier console to me. That won't stop me from picking up the HD Re-release of Shadow of the Colossus/Ico though.

Agreed. In the long run, it'll always count on what games people like as opposed to what consoles have the most exclusives. I'm interested in the game, not always the console that's running it.

Plus this poll would need to include the Wii to be fair as it is by no means an unpopular system in comparison to the other two. To a certain group of gamers, perhaps it isn't their cup of tea but I'm looking at the larger scale and seeing many people owning and enjoying Nintendo's console.

OT: Out of the two consoles? PS3.

I really can't see much at all interesting coming out on the 360.

Not only that. We don't know what exclusives haven't been announced yet for either system. We don't know which one(s) is going to be an air quote exclusive(s) and we don't know which games will be delayed til 2012.

If multiplayer is a make-or-break priority when selecting games, then Wii probably isn't for you. That isn't the case for the vast majority of people who play video games.

Huh, I really wouldn't say "vast" majority, with games like Call of Duty gaining more and more mainstream popularity. And, depending on your definition of "multiplayer", World of Warcraft's over 12 million subscribers beg to differ. And hell, if you consider all those book-face games to be "online games" then that gap is looking pretty slim.

OT: Eh, 360 and PC gamer that I am, I must admit PS3's lineup is a better, though just about all of the games I give a damn about are multi-plat, so either way I'm still pretty pleased.

Sidenote- Okay, wtf is with these captcha things. I'm fine with having to decipher the funny looking words, but when it's giving me weird puzzles like "Fill in the blank: Toyota____" I start to draw the line.

The PS3 has Little Big Planet 2, a game that is by itself enough to get people buying a PS3 and nothing else.

Meh. LBP 1 was so-so on the plattforming mechanics, and most user maps/game mods either suck or are basically the same.

But the other 4 I'm psyched for. Given that I don't like Gears, I don't know what the 360 has to offer this year.

Could be biased but I'll go with PS3. These days the PS3 is getting much more exclusives and a damn ton of them are turning out really good, I think the Xbox has already seen it's best days.
