Why? It's not that they've had more screw-ups than the other countries, it's that they've had some pretty fucking serious ones and a good lot, all in the...iunno...less than 300 years they've been a country?
Please, Don't think I'm doing some smarmy "my country is superior" shit, but through history, my home country of Norway has done pretty much nothing but defend or be neutral the last 1000 years, and even when the vikings were raging, plundering and pillaging, a lot of them were farmers and traders. Besides, they didn't drop nuclear bombs or start 3-4 wars in a century ( or at least not of the magnitude of Vietnam, Iraq etc. ). Yes, Germany started two huge wars in one century, but still not as many as the US. Besides, they don't try to fucking police the world like they own it.

There once was a man called Carl Von Linné, he basically invented Race-Biology.

We were before the Germans in having a Race-Biologic institute, ours actually stood as an example for theirs.

Also, a long time ago, Sweden was probably one of the bigger nations in the world, and we were waging wars everywhere.

But in my opinion, the first country has probably had both the most positive and most negative effect on the world.

I did. Their colonial empire was worse than the British and former french colonies are worse off than the British. Plus they were more instrumental in punishing Germany in the treaty of Versailles which caused WWII. Plus along with Britain they refused to give their colonial possessions self determination; which along with other things they pushed for in the treaty caused many of the worlds problems today, including terrorism in the middle east (and before you label me as a retard, Ossama Bin Ladin has referred back to the treaty as one of the reasons as to why he is conducting terrorism). In the end it was a toss up between Britain and France, but Britain at least gave some of their colonies limited self government.

So....yeah I voted for them.

Edit: Also, you need to add Middle Eastern Islamic states and Israel. I'm sure there are people who believe they are the worst.

Unless I'm very much mistaken, which could easily be the case, Britain "owned" the land now known as Israel and gave it to them in response to the Zionist movement gaining so much support after the Holocaust.

The closer you get to Austria, the more racist each country gets. South East france is most racist part of france who gave up their jews to the nazis and in return got to run their own nazi state. Switzerland is just generally racist as fuck, you should see the posters some of their partys put up. One is of a group of white sheep kicking a black sheep out of the country. And Germany, combining austrian evil with ruthless german efficiency is what caused the greatest horrors ever committed.
