How on earth could you say that the US is worse than Russia, which killed tens of millions of people, or Germany, where Hitler and the Nazis slaughtered six million Jews merely because they were Jews, and who also started at least one World War that lead to millions of others dying?
Without the US, France would not have been taken back. Hitler might still have been stopped, but Russia would have taken over Eastern Europe, at the very least. Without the US to counter the Soviet Union, they could have pretty much done whatever the hell they want.
And 3 times as many people think the US is worse than Russia or Germany? Come on, people, think a little here. That's not even beginning to go into the atrocities of the Chinese, or the North Koreans, who for some reason aren't on here.
I fail to even begin to see the comparison, and those that say that the US has had more of a negative effect on the world than Russia or Germany, if they honestly believe that, quite simply do not know what they are talking about.
You may not like us, perhaps, because we did something that no one else was willing to do as they were too busy pussy-footing around the issue, but it is not even comparable to the atrocities of the regimes of Russia or Germany.

I'd say America simply because while other countries do all these horrible things, at least they own up to it. America seems to think its doing people a favour by invading and destabilising their country. They still have this image that there the great hero who saves the day. If they were more realistic, like say Russia or Germany then I wouldn't mind so much. Also they have inflicted the curse of celebrity culture on us
To be honest, I don't think any country is more responsible for the badness in the world. Every country has had it's screwups, every country's done something good, and trying to blame one country for the world's problems only leads to wars.
Yeah that was the only reason you entered the war, pearl harbour was jsut a foot note. I will agree with you that America was incredibly useful then against a threat such as the Nazis. The reason most people think the US is the bane of the world is because the world media is busy focusing on the US and all it's mistakes. If it's not the US, then it's CHINA's fault.
I voted for Russia. Russia still isn't doing anything to help its people, even though it dropped the "communist" monikier awhile ago. They have one of the largest criminal syndicates in the world, and they rob Europe of their oil when they don't feel like being nice.
