Aliens have to exist. Statistically speaking, this cannot possibly be the only planet to support life, intelligent or not. It's just that the other ones that do are probably very very far away.

I think ghosts exist, but they're not really dead people. It's more a matter of distorted realities briefly crossing into one another.

As for the government spying on everyone. Who cares? Even if they are watching everyone 24 hours a day, seven days a week, they need absolutely millions of staff to do it. If you Assume that one person can look through the complete lives of three people a day by fast forwarding through things like sleeping, eating, and other mundane tasks that waste time, but don't contribute anything to societies well being, or detriment, then you'd need one third of the population to be watching the remaining two thirds, and each other. can you really imagine over two billion people being paid by the government to keep tabs on everyone? can you imagine how much all those wages would cost?

Same with CCTV footage. I worked in a supermarket, and a lot of the time CCTV was never being watched. Because we knew from experience that nothing would happen a lot of the time. Most people behave themselves and do nothing. The only time the CCTV came in to play was when we'd actively caught someone stealing, when the CCTV was then used as evidence that it had happened after the fact. That's what a lot of CCTV is, it's just there recording everything, so that if something should happen, it's on camera, and can be used as evidence. You might be being watched by camera's at all times, but very few people are watching those cameras, and they watch very little of it.

I believe that there's gotta be something after death. What else explains all those weirdass ghost sightings? [sub]Apart from a student having a good laugh.[/sub]

Of anything on that list, aliens. But I don't believe in the bullshit aliens that come down to earth and abduct humans for research or whatever.

I just believe that aliens exist somewhere. There has to be some other form of intelligent life somewhere in the universe, but, I don't believe aliens come here to Earth.
This - it's impossible to simply deny they exist

Also what the hell is mothman?

Aliens are the most logical belief, I mean one of Jupiter's moons has the right oxygen levels to support Earth like life forms so naturally the potential is out there. I refuse to believe Earth is all there is, because that's nothing short of depressing.

I'm almost positive that aliens exist just because the universe is so vast it would be more improbable to think that they weren't out there. I'm also open to the idea of ghosts as well as angels and demons. Mothman makes for a good story but I don't really believe it.

I would have liked God on your list rather than angels and demons, be interesting to find out if people on this forum believed in God over Aliens, or vice versa.

i believe aliens exist, but the idea we'll make contact is frankly ludicrous.

it would be impossible to prove we are not living in a computer-generated or magical-pixie-faerie-created world (whatever you feel like calling it), not that it matters. whether this is reality or an imitation of it, it all boils down to the same thing, which is that we are only certain of one fact: "i think therefore i am"

Just out of sheer curiosity, what is the Santa "Clause"? Is an advertising tool based off a christian saint now some part of international law?

Google it. Its pretty interesting even though I don't believe in it, it's still a good story.

Basically, people in Northern America report seeing a strange creature that is the same height as a man but has the wings of a moth. People usually spot him by his crimson red eyes.

Also made for a pretty good movie starring Richard Gere.

That's a bigger 'if' than you might think...

Scientists are Wikipedia article for 'Universe' [http://www.smh.com.au/articles/2002/12/08/1038950273151.html].

EDIT: Just noticed one of those articles I cited was from 1974. My point still stands though.

I think it's very possible there is life in somewhere outerspace, but I don't believe they have visited us, so I voted "aliens" as it's the most realistic of those choices.

Aliens. The idea that we are alone in this enormous expanse of the universe is almost absurd.

Aliens, definitely. Not anywhere near us, but certainly somewhere in all the galaxies.
It'd be arrogant to assume we're the only ones in the whole universe.
I also believe that the government spies on us, at least to some extent.
I'm not as outlandish as the typical conspiracy theorist about it, though.
As for the other stuff? Nothing of it.
