PAY IT FORWARD!!! These are pretty tear-jerking, but none came even close to Pay It Forward (for me, at least).

I dare a dog owner to watch Hachi and not cry. The only movie I've seen in my life to make fully grown infantry soldiers cry, 100% of the ones who have seen it
seriously? it took THREE PAGES before someone mentioned Hachi?
I cried like a baby at at least 3 parts of that movie!

Not on the list, but a movie that gets my black heart to "grow ten times that day" is The Iron Giant. The simple last words of the titular character is enough to reduce my squinting eyes of jaded hate become pool so re-spawning tears.
Exactly, I curled up in a ball on the couch and sobbed into my blanket. It was so sad, I was so attached to that robot.

The Room! You can really feel the character's deep emotions and ambitions portrayed in the amazing dialogue. "YOU ARE TEARING ME APAAAART!!!!" Beautiful

Grave of the Fireflies. Tears absolutely everywhere.
If by tears you mean 'complete and unspeakable, soul swallowing, spirit crushing, happiness violating despair' then I completely agree with you. By the time that movie ended I didn't even think I could find it in myself to do anything more than crawl into the fetal position and cry myself to sleep forever.

Honestly, I had sort of forgotten about the film until I saw it posted here, which I attribute to the fact my brain simply couldn't contain such sadness, and kindly repressed it away....

UP. Plain and simple. Cry in the beginning. Cry in the middle. Cry at the end. If you don't cry at least during the opening animation you have no soul.

Of the list the Gumpster is the only movie I have seen so DEFAULTED! That being said, when Quite Gone Jinn died at the end of the first star wars movies made me sadder than anything I can recall.

Toy Story 3 made me bawl towards the end.

Or I would've if I wasn't with my girlfriend in the theater.
Didn't stop me and I'm not ashamed to admit it. The Toy Story franchise is my absolute favorite within Disney and I'm just about the same age as Andy in Toy Story 3 (few years older) so this movie was basically aimed at people my age (besides kids). Even though I was pretty damn sure everything was going to turn out alright, the scene in the dump hit me hard and so did the very end, but on a happier note.

I haven't seen that movie in at least 8 years, which is a problem. What a great movie.

I didn't cry, but I thought it was one of the better done last stands in cinema and death of a very good character. I will miss our "conversations".
