Poll: Which image do you prefer?

So, I need your guys' help with a project. I need to gather data and I figure I could get quite a few from here.

if your going to collect gender specific data you need equal numbers of males and females

Female and 2. First one looks like someone attacked it with Photoshop's Hue/Saturation sliders. =o

I'm male, and I like image 2 better... Image 1 is nice and vibrant, but Image 2 is easier on the eyes and I can make out more detail.

OP? Maybe you should hold your gender-based poll on a site that isn't predominantly male XD; and as to the OT, I chose 1.

At first, I was going to say the first one but upon looking them both over more, I found myself preferring to look at the second.

I do love me some saturated colors...but image 2 is just so much more realistic and natural. And I'm a chick.

Weird. My initial instinct was the first one, but the longer I looked at it, the more gaudy and painful it was to look at.

So, male and Image 2.

I can't really give you an answer to this, because they're both flawed. I can't decide which I like more, because I don't like either of them. Not because I hate flowers, just because the over-saturation in image one creates a more eye-catching image, but the softness in the second image is boring.

So, male, and they both suck.

Mind telling us what you're researching exactly though?

This is going to be skewed. What you have to do is interview 50 men and 50 women, not 90 men and 10 women which I'm pretty sure is the male/female ratio on the Escapist.

The ratio doesn't really matter. What he does need is a significant amount of women (which is more than the current 11), so he can balance the statistics himself.

But for your projects sake, I guess image 2 was a bit more appealing to look at.
