The buttons I prefer PS3, but I have to say it feels a little more comfortable to hold an Xbox controller.
This could be the issue. The Japanese are a smaller people AND they treat videogames as more of a kids toy. So even an average American hand is probably too big for the PS controller. I don't consider my hands that big but I know I don't like those 24 3/4 scale length Les Pauls. My guitars need to be at least 25.5, and I also like six string basseseseses.Griffolion said:In my personal experience, I've found the more compact nature of the PS3 controller to be more comfortable. The Xbox felt very unwieldy in my hands and I felt the trigger buttons to be badly placed and ergonomically incompatible with how my hands worked. But I do have quite small hands for a guy, so maybe I'm not meant for the beefy, cheeto-eating, manly Xbox controllers.Merobots said:I do not mean to spark any form of skirmish between Xbox fans and PS3 Fans. As far as I'm concerning, I like both. Both have good games except I, personally (Not speaking on behalf of the internet), find the PS3 Controller uncomfortable.

My hands aren't really that big, and it fits perfectly in my hands. I mean, I guess if you're very young or have tiny girl hands, the 360 pad is probably a little on the large side, but to me it's perfect. My only dislike of the 360 pad is the giant battery pack on the back of the wireless rechargeable models. I used to wrap my fingers underneath the controller for leverage/support, but this giant brick of battery gets in the way now.Clive Howlitzer said:Although I don't do much console gaming anymore. I think the Xbox controller is an abomination. I don't know how anyone can use it. It makes a terrible use of space. It is far larger than it needs to be, considering how many buttons it has.
I guess if the primary user of an Xbox controller was a gorilla, it'd be okay.
You shouldn't be playing video games while you're driving!Vie said:Dualshock 3 every time, I even use it with my PC... ..for when I'm driving since that's the only time a mouse and keyboard aren't the best choice.
Games > Controllers.sunsetspawn said:The PS3 pad was never intended to have analog sticks, and even in its all digital days on the PS1 it still wasn't designed to be comfortable, but rather to "look cool."
Sorry, but I've grown outta that "look cool" shit, and a complete controller redesign is the only thing that could bring me back to Sony. The 360 controller is like a Tempur-Pedic bed for your hands.
