Agree. Seems the OP picked the four worst animes to take a poll on, probably because they're popular with the card-collecting non-international knowing kiddies who only get to watch what the media shows them on TV.

If I had to choose, I'd probably go with One Piece only because it's the least cop-out. Still not all that good though.

While One Piece is a good anime, none of them are 'the best' I personally love D.Gray-Man and Helsing. Oh and Karin. But my fave of all time? Dokuro Chan. PI PIRU PIRU PI!

Of the options given in OP, I'd say Naruto. But then again, since the title asks for the best anime, none of them. For crying out loud, the options are the most mainstream shonen stuff there is.

For the best anime there is, I'd have to say Bokurano.

Pro-tip Bleach, Deathnote etc are not worth discussing.

On Bleach and the etc.-part I agree, but I think Death Note is genuinely good.

Why not recommend something you think is better and why, instead of delivering unoriginal poor one liners.

Out of those, probably Bleach. Give Code Geass a try though as recommended before, I think its far more enjoyable, though there's a fair bit of nonsense to it there's a good deal more depth IMO than the ones you've put up.

To be honest, you've listed pretty generic animes. If you made me choose I'd have to go with Dragonball, just because I'm not much of a fan of the other three, and if you made me explain why, I would have to do it in Dragonball fashion: spend 6 episodes for one sentence.
