Bah, Kratos is just angsty.

No, Cloud is angsty. Kratos is more of an anger-driven semi-psycotic brute.

Semi-psychotic? He destroyed all of civilisation and is going to destroy all of creation rather than toning down the whole "raping and pillaging all of Greece" thing - theres nothing Semi about it.

Let's not forget this is Greek Mythology, and there were plenty of hardasses like that. It's just the Olympians who he's set out to destroy now ("The time of the Gods has come to an end!"-- God of War 2). They're all driven by something.

I like this idea. He's a genuinely interesting character, and though you don't see much of him, he hits you pretty deeply when you do.

Jack Walters from Call of Cthulu: Dark Corners of the Earth. The game follows him going crazy. He's even in a mental institution at certain points. In fact I believe if you go to crazy he shoots himself and you lose.

EDIT: I'm betting I can guess who Baby Tea voted for considered there's a character from Baldur's Gate up there.

I don't know how you would define 'best' but Voldo was pretty batshit. Not my favourite, mind, that would have to be Dr. "Insanity... of a MANATEE" Loboto of Psychonauts. Or maybe the Milkman. Or in fact every character in that game.

After repeated failures and making such shit robots (i.e Spring Man, Flash Man, Hard Man) you have to admire his persistance. Maybe someday we'll see if 10th time is the charm for him lol.

We still don't know what happened to the origional mega man (i have not played 9 yet so correct me if I'm wrong) so who knows...we may see the game that tells us what happened to the original megaman. Maybe zero killed him or something
