Poll: Which kind of starter do you normally choose in Pokemon?

I normally start with water purely because blue is my favourite colour.

I cycle it from fire to water to grass.

Picks were Charmander, Totodile, Treecko, Chimcar, and Oshawott.

Next is grass. Keeps things interesting.

Usually water and fire types, I tend to avoid the grass types...so why I started with Snivy on Black(and did the whole hipster thing calling him Smugleaf) is anyones guess

I always pick Water, regretting it in Black as Oshawott, Dewott and Samurott are all terrible.

I always picked fire as a kid, Charmander was my favorite back then...
but this time around I picked the grass type, Snivy...and I'm glad I did because I have Victini if I need a fire type.

I would say fire, because in general fire is awesome, but now that I think of it, the only fire starter I ever liked was Charmander. All the others suck.

Sooo, none? I guess? I pick whoever seems the coolest. Gen 2 that was Totodile, now Snivy, can't remember the rest.

I mean, really. What kind of self-respecting Pokemon trainer attacks his enemies with bubbles and water jets? Not sharp, piercing ice, actual *water*.

And meh, grass types. I did a playthough with Bulbasaur, turned out okay.

I pick the cutest one, squirtle in gen 1, chikorita in gen 2, treecko in gen 3, piplup in gen 4 and snivy in gen 5 (I actually picked tepig but it evolved into the stupidest looking thing I've ever seen so I traded it). So 3 grass, 2 water, 0 fire, I voted grass

My favourite starter is chikorita.

And my favorite is Charmander. Because he's cute, and he'll eventually evolve into the most badass Pokemon.
