Zoey, generally, because her voice commands are the most pleasant to listen to. And she's generally very funny in her witticisms. And with that in mind, I also frequently play Francis, since he's just outright hilarious.

I always play Louis when I can, though I love Bill simply because he's Captain Obvious (let him take the lead and watch was he tells you exactly what to do... even as simple as climbing a ladder).

Either Francis or Louis because i find that if someone doesnt play them they go completely brain dead as AI characters and ruin the game.

So freaking true. Was on the last checkpoint of the forest lvl and freakin Louis throws a molotv and kills us all. So we killed him and brought him back later.
