The Legend of Zelda is one of my favourite game series ever and I know im not the only one who thinks this so im wondering, Which one do the Escapist community find the most fun, not the best, but the one you personaly enjoyed the most. For me it has to be my favorite game of all time Windwaker. Some people were put of by the Cel-shaded graphics but I found that they added to the charm of the game.

Wind Waker, definitely! All of those minigames... what a time eater! And the gorgeous graphics just make it even better.

Windwaker's great (then again I think all of them except Majora's Mask are great), but the controls weren't as tight as its predecessor and the fetch quest that made Metroid Prime 2's seem exciting by comparison, and the omission of 2 dungeons to water down the difficulty, marred the experience for me somewhat. Still, I played it again at the beginning of the year.

I would say A Link to The Past because 1: It was the first Zelda game I got into. 2: There were enough variety with the weapons that I could just go nuts with them and not get bored. 3: The vastness of the two worlds allowed me to have fun just dicking around. 4: Because the boss fights were fun.

I feel that Oracle of Seasons brought me the most fun, seeing as I bought it as a child and still play it to date. The essence's of nature were fun to obtain. And who doesn't want complete control of every season?

Thank you for saying almost exactly what I was going to say. Except I was going to add that Ocarina of Time is a close second. Both fun games.

Majora's Mask

a) Actually being able to play as something other than Link, even if it's Deku-Link, Goron-Link, or Zora-Link.
b) To get the feeling that your actions actually affect the citizens of the world you're playing in, even if it's only on a 3 day schedule.

Probably Wind Waker for me. The first time I played it, the Great Sea felt so huge. I'd spend days just sailing around exploring, and even though a lot of the islands were either empty or closed off that early in the game, it was still amazingly fun.

I've played all of them except Spirit Tracks (because it is a follow-up on the only Zelda game I've ever hated: Phantom Hourglass)

Twilight Princess is my favorite Zelda, but no other game has ever come close to the pure joy and amazement of my first play through Ocarina of Time as a kid.

Wind Waker, which I didn't like initially, has grown on me over the years. The Oracle games (and, really, all the 2D ones After the second game) have aged reasonably well.

OoT was better than Majora's mask and mask was the last one I played so Ocarina of time was my favorite.

I'm going to go with Oracle of Ages/Seasons.. Mostly because they were portable and I don't have a lot of time for console games.

Having only played Twilight Princess properly, Twilight Princess.

I dabbled with Four Swords, Majora's Mask and Ocarina of Time, but...I just couldn't get in to them.

Well, in my case I voted Ocarina of Time. But truth eb told, I was split. Between A Link to the Past, a game so good I look for it in emulators and bought a control pad for my PC so that I can replicate the SNES feeling (My SNES was bricked like 8 years ago). The Twilight Princess was one of the most Woww experiences I ever had with a Zelda game... But in the end, when someone says Zelda Game first image that pops into my head is Ocarina of Time. (Not the Master Quest version, that was a fucking nightmare, my brain hurted for days just trying to get past the first! dungeon and I was without a Gamefaqs because of it was on my non-internet days).
