I got a slim after my old one's Ethernet port died and I love it. Plenty of Hard drive space, really quiet, and it just looks pretty.

Number of exclusives doesn't mean anything. I choose '360 over PS3 because of Halo, Gears, L4D and Dead Rising. If you're definitely going for an Xbox though I'd personally get a Slim with the biggest harddrive. I've heard about them being more reliable (as long as you don't move them while they're turned on), and they look shiny

everything else I want is either on the 360, or computer
and all the original type games I want I have for Wii (No More Heroes, MadWorld, Red Steel 2)
so yes I am sure about getting a 360 not a PS3
plus everyone I know has a 360 for group games and only 1 person here has a PS3, and he only has generic WW2/Modern Warfare FPS's (shocker)

but I think AvP is Computer and 360 only and my computer just BARELY doesn't have the processor for it (0.2 GHz too short)
I'm mainly getting it for it's connection to Windows Live, Castle Crashers, XBLA exclusives, MvC3 when it comes out (even though THAT I would prefer on the PS3), and a few other games
I would say the version 4 Xbox 360 Elite. You get a 120 Gb removable hard drive and RROD's are the least likely out of all the systems. The new Slim has a 250 Gb but it's not removable and it does have built in wireless so I would say either of these two.

Xbox 360 Arcade or Xbox 360 Super Elite - the Super Elite is guaranteed to be a Jasper model, the Xbox 360 Arcade will be most likely, but you'd need to check. They both have 3 year warranties, while the new slim models have 1 year warranties, and in some ways for certain the slim models have worse build quality than the old models. In the other ways you'd have to wait. Either way, the smart buyer doesn't buy a slim model, because it hasn't been out long enough to know what issues it has. You should also be able to find the Xbox 360 Arcade for less than $150 (where it's still in stock), down to $100, and the Xbox 360 Super Elite should be in the $200-$250 range, so you're saving money compared to the newer models.WOPR said:
