Poll: Which Model of "Xbox 360" is Best?

Well I turned 18 everyone! **insert group "yay" here** and I'm finally getting a 360
My question is, which model is best?
I can get anywhere from a Pro to a Slim, so help me out here guys!
Which was your favorite model and which do you think is best?
I've heard mixed reviews on Slim vs Elite, all coming down to Wi-fi vs memory storage

i have the core i think, its been a while scince i got it. either way there all good, id probably get the new slim if i was you, its sexy and i heard it has anti RROD defences

yeah I was looking at the slim cause it's the easiest to get a hoile of, has a 250GB HDD, and is really "un-dieing" in terms of RROD

The second my original non-jasper miracle box dies on me I will be getting the slim. It's pretty, quieter, wi-fi is included and it runs significantly cooler. Plus, I'd love to have a 250gb hard drive.

giant price difference and less game choice

however I will admit I don't like Bill Gates... just more games I want are on 360 then PS3

If noise is a deal-breaker, it's only noticeable when you boot up a game (if you install games to HDD). It's silent while you play. The 360 doesn't get hot either that way.

My 360 Premium works fine for me, but there will be no "best" version of any console, sadly.

I was at a friends house, he had a pro turned on all night and I was sleeping on the couch

I was fine being that I'm used to hearing 3 turtles spashing all night and a hamster running in a wheel non-stop (not to mention what ever is in the heating ducts under the house... sounds like uber-rats...)

I'd say you're better off getting the Slim seeing as it's the newer model. I have the 120gb Elite at the moment but im having problems with it, occasionally the disc drive won't work and i have to repeatedly tap the top of my 360 while it's reading a disc to get it work, and then it'll be fine for ages. My first 360 (thankfully i've only owned 2) was the original 20gb premium. I had it from around the time it first came out until a year or two back and that thing went through hell including having Pepsi spilt inside of it and still worked.
I've always said that older tech always seems to be more reliable compared to todays tech but for the sake of advancement i continue to follow the sheep.

Whoawhoawhoa have you checked the games for PS3? Fair enough if you have and don't like many of them, but I'm pretty sure it beats Xbox on the number of exclusives by far

If you're definitely going for an Xbox though I'd personally get a Slim with the biggest harddrive. I've heard about them being more reliable (as long as you don't move them while they're turned on), and they look shiny

Good idea. I personally have a old 12 Gig xbox360 Premium... People say this model is unreliable, but mine's never yet let me down.

I'd agree with this, my Premium is now several years old, and still works fine.
