None, the current console generation is just fine with me. I remember how pissed I was when I got an Xbox, and then the next week Microsoft unveiled the 360.

Bad hardware specs and lack of quality control for game released aren't anything new just look at the PS2 for sake of example.

This generation has some of the most ludicrous pricing quite frankly.
I include Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo in that last statement.
Sony starts off and as always decides that their system is going to be the most expensive by a long shot.
Microsoft decides to sell overpriced Pro and Elite bundles of their consoles.
Nintendo looks at the success of the Wii and bumps their prices up closer to the price point of the basic Xbox 360 console.
Also, peripherals have also become ridiculously overpriced...Guitar Hero or Rock Band "instruments", Arcade fight sticks or fight pads, the plastic stuff like the wheel that the Wiimote fits into.
I don't understand why anyone would pay the mico-transactions for stuff for the PSN home or their avatars.
I just don't understand why people on Xbox live buy clothes for their avatar or buy clock programs from the Xbox live marketplace.

Well, 18... don't really know if that is young or not... but did start to think that maybe I thought they came out so often was because by the time I saved enough money to get one, the next one was coming out in a few months or was already out...Altherix said:

I want the PS4 to come out first, because I don't feel like purchasing the new iteration of either of my consoles just yet. Still, that would probably cause MS to rush out their newest console, so I guess, if I must pick something that I own, I'd have to pick Nintendo. I haven't bought a Wii game in a while, so if they announced a new console, I could just give up on my Wii and sell it, instead of holding on in the hopes that someone might either Nintendo will someday release a game I might enjoy, or someone decides to play Brawl with me.
Probably Microsoft. Although I'd be tempted with Nintendo if they head back in the Gamecube direction, and don't make another "Fisher-Price esque toy". (I quoted that cause it made me chuckle.)

My personal opinion we're a ways off but I expect all three to release their next gen consoles all at the same time.
My bets are Sony will be the first to announce when the time comes.

Too bad they have a 10-year-plan, so they probably wouldn't release their new console before Microsoft or Nintendo, nonetheless when they released their console after those.Mercernary said:

I think that Microsoft might upgrade the X-Box so that their FPS fans don't have a good reason to go back to PC. Got to make it look like the boondoggle is a success.
