I'd definitely have to go with taste on this one, almost to the point where it'd be beneficial, unlike the others for their obvious drawbacks

wow everyone spells the word "lose"(correct) as "loose"(retard)
Maybe they meant loose as in to set loose; if you love a sense, you let it go (or was that people in your life?). You could also at least pretend to care about the topic instead of whining about spelling. You could also have used punctuation in your sentence.

Taste would be the best option, since you can smell your food to get a good idea of what it would taste like. You'd still have to be more careful with what you eat and make sure it isn't rotten.

well they clearly didn't mean "loose" and this happens so often that it drives me almost as insane as smart asses. I will however apologize for not using correct grammar when complaining about bad grammar: my mistake. Now for the OP: I would LOSE my sense of touch, the others seem more important so it was a pick your poison in my case.

I just choose to think they are using it like the word "λύω" lest I go insane.

Smell, could be dangerous to not have (ie gas leak: you would even notice it). My runner up is taste though. Aside from not being able to experience stuff that tastes good, it could never really be dangerous. and also it could encourage a healthier diet. I may hate Brussle sprouts but if i can't taste them it doesnt matter.

It came down to being either taste or smell so I voted taste since if I could smell my food that would give me a sense of what it taste like and if I thought something smelled bad I could eat it anyway.

Sight. I tired of looking at all the shit around me and by that i mean the world. I have a huge appreciation for the beauty of abstract things and nature but it means nothing to me if I feel these things alone.

Everything else is too precious to my being... except for smell, that can go too. I basically live for taste, it's a miracle that im not fat. Music is my lively hood and would instantly kill myself without the ability to hear. And touch is... well, for a romantic that'd be like destroying all evidence of a cure for cancer in front of a 12 year old walking his ass outta chemo.

That's exactly what I was thinking, so easy to eat healthy but so many pleasures gone!

You mean, out of the "traditional five senses" ?
Because humans have, like, at least 10 or maybe 11 "main" senses total discovered so far (temperature, passage of time, motion and acceleration, pain, balance, proprioception - the ability to tell where your limbs are in relation to your body, best observed failing when drunk), even if they might overlap somewhat to a small degree (two of the traditional senses overlap too, namely taste and smell).
You can add to that some senses that are only weakly represented in humans (but that we know work just fine in other animals) like the ability to sense magnetic or electric fields, or "hybrid" senses like echolocation and pheromone detection.
And last but not least, you can add a host of "internal-only" senses, like satiety vs hunger, fullness (bladder, stomach), general wellness (blood chemical composition sense) and so on.

TL;DR either smell or taste, because one can be used as backup for the other, and they're NOT used to interact with other people via a computer.
I'll probably go with taste :D

Smell. I can't imagine living without having sight or hearing after being spoiled with both for so long. Touch I just want. Taste I was because I'd hate not having that too. Smell is just the least useful to me in every day life.

Taste, probably. Although smell would be a close second.
I would go for sight since I can train to become a blind samurai :p

Since I heard being blind heightens all of your senses.
