I'm torn between Saints Row and Skyrim. Why does the industry always do this to us? I need to keep my job, this isn't helping!

SAINTS ROW, BITCHES!!

Saints Row 3 looks to be the best game since Saints Row 2! I'm so hyped for it, I can hardly sleep.

[small](Oh yeah, Skyrim looks kind of interesting too.)[/small]

Alright, I didn't know that. I thought they were just trying to get a little bit more creative and adding subtitles instead of an extra number number. So I guess Brotherhood was 2.33, and Revelations is going to be 2.66.
Pretty much, yeah. Some people go as far as actually calling them AC2 decimal point..., due to the belief that they are little more than AC2 expansion packs (I personally disagree, Brotherhood was a great stand alone game, despite a short main quest).

There has yet to be a BF game I haven't liked, and I've had them all, 1942, Road to Rome, Secret Weapons, Vietnam, BF2, BF2:Modern Combat, Bf2142, Special Forces, Bad Company, Heroes, BC2 and BC2:Vietnam.

I love me some Battlefield. Nothing short of Securom based single activation is going to stop me having BF3, I'm even building a new Sandy bridge (Possibly Ivy Bridge, we'll see) based PC just for that game.

Yes I am a sad, sad fanboy.

the lore is boring and the gameplay is old. where is the appeal?
Well made adventure game that will be a decent length and have interesting, fun dungeons and proper boss fights.

I know they're old school and the basics haven't changed at all since Ocarina of Time (but then, that was the ultimate adventure game), the thing is besides Zelda there are no decent adventure games to play anymore.

Arguably STALKER and Uncharted could qualify, but they push heavily into other genres too.

Saints Row: The third

And if you need me to state a reason for my choice, I can only say, play saints row 2, then watch the trailers for the third one, and then ask yourself if you want the game... I answered yes... apparently.

Saints Row 3, it was competing with Skyrim but then this trailer came out and effectively ***** slapped Skyrim down to second place

I'll still be buying most of them on release though, since i have a fair bit of money saved just for this November, hell i'm buying Ultimate Marvel v Capcom on release simply because it has Phoenix Wright in it

Dear god, I remember reading about that in the Gameinformer issue, but seeing it makes it so much more awesome.

OT: I'm looking forward to Halo Anniversary and AC: Revelations. And now, maybe even SR3. I'm somewhat interested in Skyrim, just wondering if I should play the others first.

In honesty while it does have some great titles, i am waaaaay more exicited about gears 3. But out of all of them Skyrim is gonna be the best. I have nothing against MW3 but within a week some noob is gonna hack it again and start up the prestige lobbies. O microsoft save me from the spam.

Pheew.. None, really. I MIGHT check out Skyrim, I guess. And MAYBE MW3. Possibly. I'll probably be too busy with BF3 by then, though.

Uncharted 3, closely followed by Skyrim and ACIII.
Didn't care about Skyrim until recently when I saw some gameplay videos and damn does it look like it's gonna be a lot of fun. Still, look forward to see if this Uncharted game is as awesome as the others more than fighting dragons in Skyrim. Really hope Naughty Dog won't fail me.

Skyrim. It's world shall fear the shadow beneath their own boots. No pocket is safe, no door to secure enough. It will be as if the moon has blocked out the sun and day is as night for the one who walks the twilight realm shall rule your fears. Nothing is safe from Sora. Especially your gold.

Wow...Skyrim by a landslide. I guess I'm not 'teh only one!!!11'. Yeah, didn't think I'd be buying another game for a long time (I'm just not into gaming as much anymore, my PC is no longer top of the line, and I have other interests now), but I couldn't pass it up. I loved Oblivion to pieces. This just looks right up my alley.

you need an option for none, as all the November releases are boring as far as i am concerned, noting good till next spring
That option would be to not fucking comment.

OT: Gotta be Uncharted 3. The beta had me hooked, and the campaign should be a fun ride.
