I never really liked Star Wars anyway...just...horrible.
Ladies & gentlemen, somebody who knows their shit.

They all suck, they always have, deal with it.

OT: You need an "all of the above" option.

Phantom menace. Why?
1 title.
2 the brat.
3 midiclorians.
4 the introduction of Fracking JAR JAR BINKS!
5 being the biggest disappointment on audiences ever.

I voted episode 2 because at least episode 1 shows how it all started and episode 3 had some cool jedi battles. All I remember of episode 2 was that it was basically a love story...

Btw, why does everyone hate Jar Jar? He's one of my favorite aliens.
Other than the racism, you mean?
It's a universe with 100's or even thousands of different races. There's going to be racism. In Sci-fi terms, humans are all a single race. Yet pretty much everyone has some form of racism. So it's hardly unbelievable that there's individuals that are racist in Star Wars.

Same goes with Skyrim. People say the Nords are racist. Of course they are. Try living in a world where differences are more than just skin tone. We'd be at constant war even today, well, that's if human hadn't already wiped the other races out 1000 years ago simply for being different.

1 has the unfollowable story and the unlikable characters, 2 has the nerve-wrenchingly bad romance, 3 has the light-sabre ballet over lava and the "Noooooooo"

It's like choosing between the Twiglet books.

What are you on about? Nobody is saying fantasy universes shouldn't depict racism in-universe. It's more about characters being designed around actual, IRL racist stereotypes.

Episode 1. That LITTLE FREAK'IN KID.....

Also Episode 3 is a decent flick. *Engage Flame Shield*

R2D2 set a bunch of people on fire, that makes the whole of Episode 3 watchable for me.General Grievous Vs. Obi-Wan was also Entertaining, although much too short.
I agree with you, and the Order 66 scenes were some of the most emotional in all of Star Wars

Indeed, infact the Empire is completely racist, non-humans were not allowed to hold positions of power. (unless they excelled far beyond their human counter parts.)

Episode 1: 6/10 Was ok, although childish and it had Jar Jar.

Episode 2: 3.5/10 It had that creepy relationship that was just done horribly.

Episode 3 7/10 It was allright. I remember it being action packed and it had a lot of Obi Wan.

So there's a difference? Could have fooled me. Because I would have thought there needs to be racism for racism to be depicted. Unless we're dealing with some sort of Inception concept.

How are you meant to have racism if no character is actually designed around it? Or how are you meant to have racism not designed around IRL stereotypes? Invent your own stereotype? How does that work? Should Jar Jar have instinctively released a poisonious cloud of toxic gas every time he sees a species he doesn't like?

You've completely lost me. I still don't understand why half the internet hates Jar Jar because he was somehow designed around the KKK or Nazi's or what ever you'd consider "IRL racist stereotypes".

Do you understand the difference between filming a cheeseburger as part of your movie and eating a cheeseburger while directing your movie? Same concept.

Now you're going full hektic on me. Are you suggesting George Lucas created the entire multi-billion dollar Star Wars franchise in order to release racial frustration he developed as a child through the character Jar Jar Binks?

Are you 'punking' me? Where's the camera's, Mr?

None of them are very good, however even the presence of Jake "the Muss" Heke couldn't save Episode 2: Send in the Clones from the woeful scenes between Nat Portman and Hayden Christensen.

Episode one was one of my favorites, and at least episode three had some decent memorable parts. I know I've watched the second one multiple times, but I can't remember anything about it. For me, that makes it the worst.

I doubt the stereotypical characters were written that way consciously.

Episode 1 is god-awful. Jar-Jar Binks and everything about it just reeks of ass!
Episode 2 did some things better, but the romance parts were just terrible and got in the way of the "action"

To this day, I actually enjoy most of Episode 3. I feel I might get a lot of flak for this but the action sequences were really enjoyable, although a bit melodramatic. The romance/relationship bits between Hayden Christensen and Natalie Portman were execrable and just bloody boring. Still, CG opening space battle was a step in the right direction.
