Warhammer 40k as long as I get to be a commissar.
Give me Tactical Dreadnought Armour and I'm set!
Ya but being a Space Marine you don't get to experience life as much as you would a normal military servant of The Emperor(who protects us all).
Actually screw the commissar I want to be an inquisitor.
Well at least this way I can live for 1000+ years and have a better rate of survival :p
Touche and you can also straight up murdilate just about anything just by looking at it funny.
Murdilate???
It's a word my younger brother made up I tend to use it sometimes because it sounds so stupid and ridiculous kinda like space marines.
Oh right. Well Space Marines is about to be a game name so brace yourself!
Oh I know and I can't wait.

In Star Wars, there was never an ancient alien race bent on destroying the entire universe utilizing the subway system they designed. I feel like I could live with The Empire as long as I kept my head down. Coruscant and Naboo seem pretty nice, if you discount the Gungans. Plus, if you focus really hard, you don't have to get up to get a drink or a snack.

Why is it with all these games that the most senior military figures don't wear helmets ever? I'm pretty sure that the ones who take off their helmets for some fresh air would be the ones to get killed by shrapnel/blinding fire/toxic spores or gas/pretty much everything on a battlefield.

I know nothing of Warhammer and too little of Star Trek to chose either of those. Based on what I know of Mass Effect and, Star Wars I think I'd have to chose Star Wars. If I'm not a Jedi, there is a chance that I will be brutally murdered during a war or, by a planet-destroying super weapon. It would be cool being a Twi-Lek or, Wookiee though.

I would love to be a part of the Mass Effect reality too but, there are too many variables there. Perhaps I'm living in the renegade Shepard universe: I start out living in a Galaxy where the other aliens treat me like a second class citizen but once Shepard kills off the council, everyone singles me out and treat me worse because some military douche is making the rest of humans look worse than the Krogan. Meanwhile there's the risk of a Reaper invasion and, the other risk of randomly being enslaved or, captured by Batarians, Vorcha, Krogans or, other humans.

Guess their sheer badassery blocks everything :p

Ghost in the Shell universe. Everything wrong with you can be replaced. The virtual worlds we could create would be amazing, motion controls would be something other than a gimmick.

Mass Effect has turians.

Turians are the best [sub](and sexiest)[/sub] things ever.

Mass Effect wins.
Sir! I would have to disagree with you there. How can you say that giant salamanders are sexier than the (I assume) beautiful Quarians? They also made the geth, so that's a plus.

What, no Firefly/Serenity love? Aside from the sporadic reaver attacks and space-government conspiracies, I'd like to live in a universe like that.

Mass Effect comes close but, as someone said before: Reapers, Batarians and slavers of all sorts. I'm sure there are slavers in Fireflyverse but, in my opinion, Mass Effectverse is much more dangerous.

Friekin Reaver's though. Also, super black ninjas. And evil martial arts mind controlled children. Also the hero of Canton, Jane! Much more dangerous than some old geth.

True, but the Star Wars universe had the Yuuzhan Vong, and they tried to kill everyone cuzz they used mechanical technology.

The world of Dune. 40k a close second. Dune was awesome, and if everyone talks like Herbert writes, then all the more so.

That really surprised me as Mass Effect is a very warlike and politically tense universe on the brink of destruction at the hands of the Reapers. Whereas the human civilizations in Star Trek are almost Utopian.

Definitely Mass Effect. I'd live on the Citadel, in whichever ward had the most neon.

I agree with mass effect, but Warhammer 40k would be awesome. Star wars (The kotor games universe preferably.) would be interesting as long as I was there when the sith wasn't in power...

STAR WARS IS NOT THE FUTURE! "a LONG LONG TIME AGO in a galaxy far far away..." sorry about that, now that I have that off my chest, I would like to live in the galaxy of starwars, if and only if, I could be a jedi.
