Simple question.

The reason why I'm not including Sonic is because anyone with a brain cell would vote for that.

BTW, voting for the "Other" option does not count for Sonic.

I say Crash and Spyro, they should've ended when the PS1 ended.

Crash and Spyro. I would say FF, but the fact that each numerical FF has nothing to do with the last makes it okay, 'cause you could give each of them a different title.

I wish i could vote more than once. Almost all of your options should end. Spyro stopped being great after the first game, he stopped being good after the second game, and he stopped being okay after insomniac abandoned him. But my vote went for Final Fantasy, and do i really need to explain why?

Hate to say it but after Halo wars and Halo ODST(Provided its as good as I think its guna be, WHICH IS AWESOME!) the series should end. Loved Halo, they can make A halo rpg, just so they can sell out to all genres of games but otherwise, I think it honestly needs to end. Great Universe, great story, innovative gameplay(meaning it was the first real first person shooter of the Next-gen consoles). I just hate to see such a great IP, turn into Sonic and Mario.

Bungie puts an end to it, and do something else they want to make a game of. If they want to make a JRPG even, I would play it out of respect for them. If they wanted to make another First-Person shooter I would dig it, but it would have to be entirely different then Halo.

Halo needs to end.

But I would love Master Cheif in Super Smash Bros though!

Most of them still have potential, and most could go stale. But the one that has proven stalest, longest is the sub-par Sonic: Crash Bandicoot. All he's ever done is copy other franchises, so he has to go. Spyro doesn't even deserve a mention.

Zelda, Mario have been going a long time and using the same plots but each time they use a new game engine so there's always potential. Same for Final Fantasy. Even if I might not like the latest version, they are continually changing them. As much as I hated GTA4, if they change a few things (like the country it's set in for one), then it could become fresh again.

Crash. Let the old bandicoot put his sneakers away for good.

... is a bandicoot even an animal?!

I said this on another topic, but I actually have the balls to say that the 3D Sonic games are better than the post-PS1 Crash and Spyro games (yeah, I'm THAT harsh towards them).

I see that you have a poll, but does that really necessitate starting a new thread.

I wish I could vote for all of those choices. Anyway, Gears of War has one more game and after that Epic should stick to the Unreal series cause it's a hell of alot better.

Guitar Hero for me. Im not saying I love the games but the differences between each version is the setlist.. visuals and other features havent changed an awful lot since the original. Rockband was a very refreshing change to the series...

Medal of Honour and CoD WaW to some extent as well.. I really dont like buying a new game when it just feels like an expansion pack of the previous game. Or a skin pack in terms of WaW. They arnt bad games at all just annoying when it could be released as DLC or cheaper

Yeah sure they should be ashamed of the sonic games released lately but if they got back to the orignial 2D style gameplay it could be a decent game. I just cant see it working at all in 3D

I was inching toward Halo, then I was inching toward Mario, but then I remembered the series that so sorely needs to be put out of its misery.

Crash Bandicoot.

I enjoyed everything up to CTR, and the franchise completely lost my attention with TwinSanity.

Spyro is the same, but to a much lesser extent.

EDIT:

It's an Australian rodent, if you need to know.

Halo should end it's finished the story if you can call it that and now they are just getting into spin offs which while I'm looking forward to Halo wars ODST just seems kinda lame and any more Halo games are just riding on the name because they know no matter how bad it is the fanboys will buy it.

I can't believe I forgot to put World of Warcraft on here.

Oh well, that's where the "other" option comes in (even though I already voted, but I would vote again if I had the chance).

Not all those franchises suck as hard as Sonic has been doing since the past 8-9 years. Others have never been really that good to begin with (Halo, lol) others still have loyal fans even with all the rehashing (Zelda, GTA) others are actually quite diverse in each sequel, liked them or not (Final Fantasy) and others, well, anyone still cares about Spyro and Crash? Or has ever cared about them? I always felt that just clueless parents looking for some cheap game for their spawns were the only ones whou bought those titles.

I'll say Silent Hill deserves a good rest, ever since the fourth game things have been going downhill. Konami really just doesn't care anymore about the franchise, thus the lack of quality of the last games.

Tetris has been remade for every imaginable console by everyone and their grandma. It's done.
