Actually I dont hate halo I despise it, I have hated it since they decided to say screw the story lets make a game thats entire point is the online oh and lets add this charater that is completely pointless and is an little douche that has no reason to be in the story and make you play as him for most of the game oh and the game is only like 6 hours long. I mean what the hell the first one basically invented the console shooter and after that they stopped caring about the story and decided to milk it for all the money they could so yes that is why I think Halo should drop off the face of the planet never to be seen again.orannis62 said:
Final Fantasy. After 10 I stopped giving a crap about the series. Come to think of it, I don't care about Squareenix anymore either. Last game they published that I had fun with was The World Ends With You. I believe a part of me just died right now.

Oh yeah, obviously, the game is awful, it is the most popular multiplayer game to date, it made 170 million dollars on its release day and it is one of the most successful franchises ever. Must be shit then.cannot_aim said:

Honestly ¬_¬ It had one of the most epic storys going for a FPS, the graphics were always top of their game, the gameplay was fun and even better with friends. Maybe the Halo Hate Bandwagon should drop off the earth first.

A few things don't deserve to be up there. GoW for one, it's only had 2 games...
Final Fantasy can be good again once squareenix realizes that people liked the older games/why. Everything was good up to 6, then slid downhill for 7/8, 9 was a little step up,before tripping over 10 and faceplanting on 12. 13 looks disappointing, but that's just the setting/characters.
You can't kill the mario/zelda franchises, they will keep coming with fanboys holding them up. the crappy spinoffs should stop (smash bros can stay though...)
Guitarhero/rockband need to stop making new games. seriously, they have new DLCs every week, why make a new game?

Guitar Hero, while silly and embarassing, can live a bit longer but only if they can get a better song selection.

GTA is over, and I feel that it has been over since 'Vice City'! San Andreas was OK, but IV was, just as ZP says, more like normal life than the crazy sandbox fun of the original GTAs. So Rockstat should leave the franchise where it is, and call it a day on the monumental game that was GTA in the late 90s/early 00s.

Let me clarify that - you hate a FIRST PERSON SHOOTER because of the story...a story that is told entirely through cut-scenes and is only there to set the scene for the next fantastic encounter the game throws at you.
Give it up with the Halo hate - its a good game.
