The English of course, being English myself. And guys can we just ignore the typo perhaps? It's obvious what he meant.

I like the Americans, also I like the fraction 1/2 because the odds have to be at least 1/2 before I lay down money.

I like my fractions Huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge.

Also, I like my Factions British! We stood up, looked the Germans straight in the eye and said "OI! We're the only ones who can knock the shit out of the French!" and then proceeded to kick their arses.

Don't get me wrong, without Russia we'd have been crushed eventually, but it would have been slow, painful and cost a decent number of Nazis.

Why did you even include the french? Ive never played a game where the white flag was my primary weapon.

On topic, 6/3rds is the best fraction in WWII. (thats 2 for the 6/2's out of 10 that dont understand top heavy fractions)

Well in what kinda games, because I mean otherwise this is a "which WW1&2's army aesthetic appeals to you most."

Coz I hate to say it, but the Axis wore designer uniforms... .... ...

Cod 3 never existed.

Easily British, hell, just play CoD2, British missions were by far the most fun, especially the interaction between Price and MacGregor is just brilliant.

Germany because of the weapons. And tanks. And pretty much any of thier equipment.
The Russians had better tanks than the germans
Nope, they just had shitloads more of them. T-34 appeared in numbers after much butthurt was dealt to the elderly KV tanks the russkies had by the Panzer III and IV divisions. It had been around since 1940, but not in serious enough numbers to halt the German Panzer divisions. Production was ramped up massively following the German invasion of the Soviet Union.

From 1942 onwards the Germans fielded the Panzer V (Panther) which was specifically designed to counter the T-34, and did it rather well. This was followed by the Panzer VI (Tiger), which was pretty pwnd anything the allies (western or soviet) could throw at it. Very late in the war the Russians fielded the massive "Stalin" tank, which was intended to counter the Tiger, but at best it was an even match in a one on one engagement. Which was the main problem. The Allies could produce vastly more tanks than the Germans could, our tank factories/supply dumps/supply lines were not under constant, heavy attack every day for 3 years and we didn't lose most of our oil supplies towards the end of the war. By 1943 the U-boat war had to all intents and purposes been won by the allies and more and more of our stuff was getting through.

More German tanks were lost after being abandoned by their crews following breakdowns, running out of ammo and/or fuel than were ever lost to enemy fire.

OT: German SMG's are always the best ones in WWII shooters (possibly only challenged by that insanely rapid-firing Russian thing), the M1 Garand is usually the best all round rifle and the MG42 is the dogs bollocks when you need to take out half the enemy army in one go. Apart from the generic double barrel job in WaW, the only shotguns seem to be American too, so they kind of win that by default.

I vote Brit though, as one WWII game I have played a lot is IL2:1946, and we get Spits. Yay!

At the start of the war, with the T-34, yes. However, with the advent of the Panther, Germany outclassed everyone else in the world in tank power.

Didn't save them though.
It's a damn shame they weren't reliable. Oh wait. It's a good thing!

:D

America and the Brits are definitely the best. I tend to go with the Brits in CoH because of the SAS branch (or artillery, yum), but if I play American Infantry or Armor I am unstoppable.

Canadian, British, German, Russian, Italian, Japenese, French, basically anyone but the americans. Not because I don't like the american weapons used in the war, but because they are overused.

Hahaha I know it did mate, but it wasn't released on PC so it's the forgotten game of the Cod series.

I've gone with the Russians here, because I think their front was the most interesting (although Stalingrad is wearing a little thin).

I've always wanted to play as the Gurkhas, partly because of stories like this...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tulbahadur_Pun , and partly because I've always wanted to try out the kukri.
