Poll: who do you think Finn's love interest should be

I look at this thread and wonder, "What are these people talking about?" Then I see a video in a comment and realize that Adventure Time has made such an influence that people instantly recognize its characters.

I'm pretty sure that not even My Little Pony: FIM had this kind of influence.

Marceline, of course. She's the best character on the show! Hell, I'd date Marceline and I'm not even into girls. I'd go gay for Marceline. You heard it here first.

Princess Bubblegum comes in a very close second. Though, the Internet seems to be shipping them (MarcelineXBubblegum) after the 'I'm just your problem' song. I imagine quite a few parents would have issues with that.

I never did get that pairing. I've seen the episode and all I get out of it is that at one time they used to be best friends but had a falling out at some point.

This question is part of what makes the show so awesome. The answer is unfortunately no one. No one is good enough for Finn except Jake. Bubblegum is a mad scientist tyrant, and the flame princess is inherently evil (oh god, the XP penalty joke killed me). The rest of the princesses aren't even remotely human or necessarily capable of deep emotional connections, and Marcelline is just rebellion and trouble. The only possibility I see at this point is Susan Strong, but that relationship would be more work than it's worth.

Right now, I'm thinking Flame Princess, since they've actually been working things out. But I want to see where this goes. I could use a few more episodes with her in a main role before voting one way or the other. I know she had two more appearances besides her two-part introduction this season ("Burning Low" and "Ignition Point"), but she wasn't very prominent in them other than the beginning and end. I also want to know if anything would actually happen if she "changes alignment" (for all I know, that could be amazingly funny or tragic).

I'd say Princess Bubblegum (out of any character), though admittedly I've not yet watched Season 4; Flame Princess is just a crazy psychopath to me. Finn and Bubblegum were a couple for a short time; the age difference isn't an issue, he just needs to be a little older.

I don't really care as long as they don't just keep adding an endless string of characters that Finn is interested in. It would be to easy to abuse and it would ruin the show. I like Finn and FP more but I would be okay with Finn and PB. Whatever works in the end, the show is interesting so I'm sure they will come up with an interesting solution to all this.

I only have the first two dvds, so I haven't seen much. That and the episode order is screwed up on them, for some reason.

I would say Princess bubblegu,, but that's in part for not knowing who this other one is. Or Marceline.

The new competitor in this race, Marceline, is definitely my favorite though.

Shipping Jake and Everything Burrito is canon... so.. yeah I'm not sure how wrong or right that is.

OT: I liked the Finn/Bubblegum thing just because she seems a bit crazier than the surface shows.

I'm bias to say Flame princess since they make a cute couple!

While PB did not show no interests toward Finn but I'm not 100% sure since she did like him when she was made younger during the Lich King incident? Maybe the reason for PB to have no romantic interest toward Finn is due to her older age (like she kind of view Finn as immature)?
