Poll: Who is Gaming biggest douche?

For me, this award goes to Blizzard, EA, and Ubisoft. I made a thread about the reasons why they piss me off, and I don't think it all needs repeating. Mainly for these things:
- Always-on requirement for single player games (Ubisoft for starting this, EA and Blizzard for implementing and thinking they can get away with it)
- EA/Origin for their (lack of) privacy terms of service
- EA/Origin for stating that PC version of BF3 will be the best, yet removing key features from it
- Pretty much the whole PC gaming industry for removing LAN capabilities in games, but that seems only to be a pet hate of minorities like me =(

But I voted for Gamestop. Why? Because they not only screw their customers over, they also screw the industry. Far more than any pirate ever will.
They're basically parasites, leeching money off of both gamer and dev.

I've hated them from years ago (Megadrive era), then for a brief period I kind of liked them and thought they'd learned their lesson and finally started to make some good games after years of money grabbing, ripping people off, infinite sequels and half-assed movie tie-ins. But then C&C 4 and some other half-assed cash-ins and it turns out I was wrong.

Nope sorry. No matter what a company does its still a faceless collection of people rather than a concert entity to me and thus can be boiled down to a series of small douches rather than a big one. The biggest douche is still some asshole on you meet in a random server on your favorite multiplayer game.

I voted Capcom. It takes an extra amount of dickishness to cancel a game your fans are highly anticipating and then putting the blame on those fans for not wanting it enough. Then there is releasing an unfinished game and then releasing it again nine months later for $40 when you could have patched issues (matchmaking, spectator, balance). New characters would have been more if released as separate DLC? Who buys every DLC character though? I wasn't planning on buying any.

Biggest douchebag to me: Capcom. Between canceling Megaman Online and Megaman Legends 3, not localizing either Ace Attorney Investigations 2 or the Wright/Layton game, as well as the stuff with Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, it's just been one kick in the balls after another.

Three way tie between Activision, EA and Capcom with an honorable mention going to Sonic Team just for being completely fucking useless.

I don't think we could blame the Sonic Team but SEGA itself, as they're the one being completely useless. They haven't done a good game in quite a while until Shogun 2 and Sonic Colours both came out.

OT: I'm thinking about voting for five:
- EA because of the Origin shitstorm and basically ruining Battlefield 3 on PC with everything they're doing (each video makes me want the game more, but each press release makes me want to choke one of their executives);
- Capcom for behaving like Apple and releasing the same damn product over and over each year with tons of DLC and in an unfinished game;
- Nintendo because they're going the Capcom way and re-releasing their games every time without even thinking about a new IP and their machines released in the last few years are shovelware heaven (also, the Wii U cheap parts thing);
- Activision because of... the obvious (Kotick's a money-hungry poopie-head, Infinity Ward got f-ed over, and they've been ruining CoD since Modern Warfare);
- and finally, the gamer himself, because it's mostly his fault if the aforementioned companies are acting like money-hungry pricks: he showed them they could do whatever they wanted in form of DLC or DRM, or releasing the same damn game each year over and over.

EA because as much as I want battlefield 3 its getting really hard to convince my friends who are having second thoughts because the CEO of EA won't just shut the fuck up about how battlefield is suppoust to be a CoD killer. Also the whole Steam Origin business and I'm not even getting it for the computer.
