I like Eccleston cos he seemed more darker and i hoped it would build the character more as a soldier whos

David Tennant definitely had the most character and was tried the least to be cool, he just was. Christopher Eccleston comes in a close second and Matt Smith is trying way to hard to be David Tennant. Fact.

My favorite was Eccleston, he actually acted where aI felt Tenant was just playing the character as himself.

Eccleston > Smith > Tennant

Yeah I'm pretty much backwards. But I loved Eccleston's season.

Dr Mario!

(but don't let him touch you, he's not a REAL doctor... he got his degree in philosophy)

Eccleston was awesome, but he left before he could endear himself
Tennant was pure brilliance, if subject to occasionally anticlimatic writing (Damn you, Russel T!) and a bit puppydog-ish sometimes
Smith is...growing on me

Problem with Smith, is that he's from the local Boy's School (Northampton School for Boys)

Bunch of stuck-up, crybaby nancyboys who touch each other in the showers because there are no girls nearby!

That's the local description, btw. But I have been habitualised to view him with cautious contempt for now

As a doctor, he's great!

Tennant, although Smith is quite good and given time will probably be just as good esp. with Moffat writing the script

My choice is Tom Baker.

Other major missing options are William Hartnell, Patrick Troughton, John Pertwee, Peter Davison, Colin Baker, and Sylvester McCoy.

I don't care if I'm not supposed to *****, some of us are old enough to have watched it in those days.
YES!
Tom Baker is my favorite as well. You can't beat that scarf!

I'm sick of all these damn people who just found out about Dr.Who and pretend the old series didn't bloody well exist. If you didn't watch the old stuff YOU ARE NOT A DR.WHO FAN. I also thought it was funny when everyone raged when they switched doctors. Sorry, but that's how things work. I didn't see what the big deal is. I mean, a new doctor is always hard but man.

How could you leave me out?

Loving Matt Smith so far, but DT is the best. But I loved Chris Eccelston too...Too bad he couldn't stay on for more than one series.

I can't believe we aren't allowed to ***** about the old (great) doctors ha. Well out of these i'd choose Eccleston. He felt like a natural progression from the previous Doctors and was a good actor to boot.

Tennant was dire... just too silly and the opposite of Eccleston, he felt totally out of place. Matt Smith shows alot of promise and is already twice the actor Tennant was, although Smith has better writing and dialogue to work with... so Tennant is forgiven a little.
