i'm sorry, but 'on her majesty's secret service' was a quality film and George Lazenby was excellent in it. Connery comes second with the great Dr No and the amazing From russia with love (my second faveourite one), Pierce Brosnan comes in at third with Goldeneye. the rest are pretty much eqaul, I never got into Roger moores style, and Timothy dalton was truly shocking, but I don't mind daniel craig. phew.
Pierce Brosnan mainly because it was the one I grew up with. I really don't like the new bond films, they have taken all the humour out of it and now your just left with a look-a-like Bourne movie. Gadgets,Girls and Cars was the perfect formula for bond. Bring back the old Bond I say, Old Bean.
James Bond as he is supposed to be. A one-liner spouting lady killer, who get's the job done in style.
Any attempt at making Bond more vulnerable or more "realistic" by some of the later Bond-actors, completely destroys everything that makes the character interesting in my opinion.
I'd say Pierce Brosnan. His Bond movies were the ones I enjoyed the most. The Bond at the bottom of my list would be Sean Connery. People give him far too much credit, simply because he was the first one.
Roger Moore
Daniel Craig
Sean Connery
Pierce Brosnan
Timothy Dalton
Haven't seen the George Lazenby one.
I actually preferred Roger Moore's more light-hearted approach to the role of Bond. Daniel Craig I think is excellent, wasn't sure whether to put him first or second. Sean Connery seems the classic Bond, he got the right balance between humour and action. The Pierce Brosnan films were good, not great. I started watching a Timothy Dalton one without realising it was a Bond film, and was very surprised when I found out it was one-was totally rubbish.
