Dr. Manhattan.

It's always bothered me about Rorschach fandom. I can get if people liked him because he is a complex, ill character, but is good, wounded, and worth some understanding. But, it seems like fans love him because they AGREE with his philosophy. Or just gush over him being badass.

Manhattan and Eddie are my favorites, simply because they understand. They get it. Rorschach is my least favorite on the other hand. I don't dislike him, but he's a moral absolutist. And, like in Watchmen, a functioning society has no place for creatures like those.
Ahhhhh their is the question...is the society we live in functional....where rapists and murderers play the insanity card and get off mostly scott free...where America is getting dumber, and fatter (I think fat is FINE!, but dumb is bad), where we have to question every movement of our governement because they seem to just want out money and not the responisbility?

Does that sound like a functioning society to you?

It barely is in my opinion, but enought that people like these should exist, but only underground, where our law had no regard or power.
The word you want is "there". And the words underlined in red are insults to me. Fix it. Then I'll respond to your comments.
Put the red lines in and ill think about responding to you and fixing my mistake.

Manhattan took the cake. Completely logical, and super powerful. His telling of his background story was my favorite part in the movie, hands down. He simply has the most character substance, in my opinion.
Not only that but he's the only true SUPERhero in the entire movie. If you can actually wrap your head around and understand what he's talking about, the physics, alternite dimentions, and time stuff is really weird, but the cool weird. I recommend you watch Doctor Who before you hear him, It helps.

Rorschach was my vote. "Never compromise" is my kind of ideology. Though to be honest, I'd find it very hard to vote against any of the characters, apart from maybe Ozymandias. I didn't really find much about him appealing, apart from Bubastis, but that doesn't really count.

The typos. The failures. Oh look! You made a new one. You want I'll, not "ill". Fix those and you might have a point. Maybe.
Valid argument, however you cannont insist that I change my grammar to make up for the lack of thought on your part on what a fully functioning society is. If you continue to make remarks on my terrible grammar, as horrible as it is, you have not weight to your opinion if you do not support it. Grammar does give credibility, but to the extent in which you wield it as a weapon to which those who do not agree with you must conform to the laws of grammar. I am going to pull a Rosarch, and choose not to follow the rules of grammar considering they are quite chaotic. I must digress, you give me strong evidence to think your way, and I promise you I will go back and fix every gramtical error I can find.

Also
The typos. <----That sentence doesn't have a verb thus it is not a complete sentence
The failures <----" " " " " " " " " " " " "

Rorschach is my favourite. He's so mysterious and melodramatic. Plus he has the coolest mask I've ever seen, move over Spider-man.

It'd have to be Rorschach and the comedian, they were men who stuck to their convictions and were fine with looking people in the eye and telling it how it is, they were bad men who knew it and didn't try to become a part of society because they knew they didn't belong there.

Unlike night owl, he was about the incarnation of what I hate in other guys, makes a move on a friends gal because they hit a rough patch, taking advantage of a gal just because she was feeling vulnerable, changes his opinion of something just because he cant win anymore and had the nerve to think he was ever a good guy.

At least Rorschach and the comedian were honest about who and what they were.

Why the hell did people vote for Night Owl?

Also, who the hell was the guy with the noose around his neck and the purple executioners mask?

So up until a few weeks ago I had never even heard of Watchmen, but then I saw the trailer in a movie theater. At first I decided to read the comic because I thought it would be a crazy as the trailer made it out to be. But instead I fell in love with, it is just amazing. So I decided to ask who your favorite character is.
I voted for the comedian.
I think that was Hooded Justice. I liked him.

I didn't vote because I ended up feeling that EVERYONE was cool. From the sheer badassery of Rorschach to the calm, disattached Doc. Manhattan. Anyone who lacked as a relateable character made up for it in awesome character design.

Well, Rorschach is by far the most entertaining and badass of the characters. I do, however, find myself sympathising a lot with Nite Owl, because he's the "everyman" of the story, so it's between those two.
