I liked three dog, but I think there should be a Xbox Live radio station that streams through Xbox live, giving you all the news our rotten gaming hearts can handle and good music, that would be so sweet

this is three dawg oaaah coming to you from Radio Xbox live!

I decapitated him and threw his head down the stairs. I always hate these DJ characters in games, which is mainly what turned me from Burnout Paradise.

I loved this game and 3-dog was part of it. I did hate how he repeated himself a lot but a part of me didn't want to miss the point where he would come up with something new.

I skipped that entire part of the game by just going straight to the Rivet City. I had no idea that was actually part of the game.

I found him mostly annoying, but than the same goes for every radio show host I've ever come across. Fictional or not.

And by the way, am I the only one who got the feeling they made up the entire "Trouble on the homefront" quest just to shoehorn the line "You're a hero... and you must leave" in somewhere?
You know what, I think they do. I remember feeling the same form of creeping dread I felt in Fallout 1 when I heard it, partially because it was dramatic, partially because I remember feeling that same dread before, and partially because they'd ripped it off of Fallout 1. Even the the Wanderer knows it! "I don't like where this is going..."
The only thing I thought when I heard it was "Oh for crying out loud. Come up with something new for a change!" God knows what stopped me from killing everyone in the entire vault. Probably the knowledge that it wouldn't hurt the devs in any way. Only the overseer ended up slightly shorter.

I would have to say that in my evil playthrough I most deffinatly love him! My slogan is that every piece of mud you throw upon my name I shall wear as a badge of honour, and seeing that his lines are really reptitive I happen to have alot of badges of honour hanging around my neck.

He's funny, his little mission updates on the radio keep the station reasonably fresh

Every character was pretty much annoying. 3 dog wasn't as annoying as moira though but the voice acting was just as bad.

He has his charm, but the repetition got to me after a while. Also he seems to clash just a little with the music he plays. He kind of conforms to something not in line with the 50s point of view that the game was made with, more a 60s or 70s deal.

He was also repetitive.

He pisses me off when I have very good karma and I ditch the kid in Greyditch. Ugh... Asshole. But I still love him.

I always found him kinda funny. Now me and my friends will walk around talking like him."I would like a burrito! No matter how bad it hurts!", is one of the great ones that came from this.

I think he's a poster-child for bad voice acting. I mean, did you ever meet anyone on the street or hear anyone on the radio who sounds like that? You'd never confuse 3Dog with a human being.
I hope no one's pointed this out yet, but Three Dog is obviously a take off of the famous 50's DJ, Wolfman Jack. Hell, the Wolfman's Wikipedia page even mentions this parody: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wolfman_Jack#Legacy

So yeah, there are human beings who sound like this.

EDIT: Damn, missed the above post. But, still. Check out the Wikipedia page. It really does mention Three Dog.

I liked him until he decided to stop updating the game events and just kept talking about Greyditch for the rest of the game (even though I finished that quest at level 4).

He refused to tell me about my father, sent me on a fetch quest where I risk life and limb for a stupid piece of tech that the brotherhood could have gotten in five minutes, and I come back all bloodied and bruised, and he whines at me about some sort of 'good fight', and I get the bad karma when I fat man him?!?!

There is no god.

In the Fallout universe, anyway.

I ended up lost in the middle of nowhere with no ammo or health while trying to find his satellite. So I reloaded my save file in his office, and murdered the Hell out of him.

Same here. Especially right now, on my third character a.k.a. Gordon Freeman. You do not force Gordon Freeman to find your stupid satellite just so he can find his dad.
No you just make him push buttons, pull levers, and fetch roller mines XD
