Eh, I assumed that it had all been said already, and I didn't feel like typing all the reasons why Objectivism fails. Perhaps hinted was the wrong word, but I fail to see why she decided to create characters who would go on long-winded rants instead of just writing a book about her beliefs without all the fictional stuff. It would make her a bit more legitimate, although ultimately it wouldn't really help that much. As for the quality of her novels, that's a very subjective point and there's nothing to argue about. As for the coldness, anyone who labels altruism as being evil is cold. There's no real way around that. And finally, she is crazy, she is Russian, and she is a lady. The fact that I have a Communist insignia as my avatar really has nothing to do with that because Communism was not invented by the Russians, it was never truly put into practice by the Russians, and Communism is about as far from Objectivism as you can get.
