needs a third poll option, it's an overused not piece of shit track.

I'm not saying it's great either, but so many good things get ruined by overexposure.

I'm in a minority, but I kind of like both Michael Mcintyre and James Corden for instance, I think the only thing they did wrong was keep saying 'yes' to any TV job offered, but, when you've worked your whole life to 'make it', turning down TV work probably doesn't sound like a good career move.

Same thing happened to tunes like Rob D's 'Clubbed to Death' or Blur's 'Song 2', got used for a million ads, trailers and tv shows and just got kinda worn out.

I downvote and immediately stop watching any video that has this song in it. Anytime I hear someone play it, I either walk out of the room, or hit them in the face.

Answer enough?

Not a huge fan of heavy metal. Plus I hear that song more often than I'd like. It was kinda cool the first time. But the only thing more played than that is "You're Amazing" (or whatever it's called) ever since it was played on the latest episode of Glee. Fuck Top-40 radio stations. Never play anything other than generic crap-pop music.

I'd never heard it until this thread. It seemed... Really bloody generic. I'd imagine listening to it alot would be enraging, but I've never had that trouble thankfully, so I won't vote.

At first I was like: "Eh, It sounds familiar, can't place it though."
Then I youtube'd it and was like: "Ohh, that song. Yeah, it's okay."

I haven't heard it that much, maybe I've been in the wrong places...
I like it, it's a good song.

Being in a weight lifting class this is how I feel about every well known metal song.

It's not the worst song ever, and it's about as metal as Taylor Swift is country. Drowning Pool is Nu Metal at most, which it's not exactly metal, it's more Hard Rock with metal elements, so don't judge the song/band by "metal" terms. It is repetitive and overplayed but how many mainstream songs aren't.
My final opinion, it's not bad for a mainstream song.

As for posting a metal song that is good, the term good is relative. Not everyone likes death metal or black metal or gothic metal, so I would have to post 2+ bands from every major metal subgenre and I'm just not in the mood.

Its a bit overused.... but I don't hear it often enough for it to really bother me.

On a curious side-note, a military guy I once knew mentioned a story relating to this song. Apparently they were going to raid a house with some wanted people in it (I think in Iraq). Well, when they got up to the house, they decided to start playing this song at full blast. Completely freaked the hell out of the people inside to the point that, if memory serves, the soldiers managed to get the suspects without much of a fight.

Truth be told, its actually I find it one of the worst songs on the album, but the song is fairly good, figure that one out, overplayed....yes...almost headache inducing but not bad.

I'm seriously sick of hearing this song on the internet... it's not cool, it's not heavy, it just. Fucking. SUCKS.

Anyone else sick to their back teeth of this piss-poor excuse for metal? Feel free to post vids/links of metal bands that are actually good!
If it wasn't a good song and it was not mentioned you would make a whiny thread how this song is so underplayed and people should love it.

Go away, stop whining and don't whine again.
Lol, what an awesome argument! Your "Debater of the Year" medal is in the post...

For awhile, it was. I haven't heard it used ad nauseum in years though. I don't particularly like the song, but it never grated on my nerves.

Personally I hate metal music in practically all of it's forms, I don't find it enjoyable to listen to under any circumstance and I feel that far too many people trying to get into music try to go a heavy metal way. That being said, I don't like Bodies at all, of course I won't criticize anyone who actually likes metal, nor will I say it is a terrible song I just don't like it. But the fact that you so blatantly say that a song a lot of people like, "Fucking. Sucks" makes me feel you are chauvinistic calling a song many people define as a heavy metal song not heavy.

Also I have heard people say "Bodies is such and over played piece of crap!" time and time again on YouTube, but to be shockingly honest. I haven't heard it played on new videos in a long time, it seems to be quite a rare song to find on any video, requiem for a dream seems quite over played in my opinion, but then that is just my opinion. Honestly you should have complained this song about, what? 3-4 years ago when it was allegedly played copiously, complaining about it now makes it seem like you are real late for the party.

Also I understand if you think it's not cool, it's not heavy and that is just FUCKING SUCKS. But imagine if I had said to you "Heavy metal music is completely and absolutely shit! Anyone who likes it is ignorant!" You would probably be as furious as the people you insulted when you said Bodies is a bad song.

That's just my two cents, they're only my opinions, next time, maybe watch what you say.
Umm... no. Watch what I say? If people are pissed off because I hate a song then they really are pathetic. I refuse to be silenced, I don't care who's offended, blah blah blah...

Also, "chauvinistic" means that I think men are superior to women. Which I don't. So I honestly have no idea where that came from.

Have some Akercocke for your trouble:

Courtesy of Google definitions.

Chauvinistic: Of or relating to persons convinced of the superiority of their own gender or kind.

So I was saying, to me, it read as if you were convinced of the superiority of your own kind, the kind that likes heavy metal music.

I will admit it is pathetic for people to get angry over you hating a particular song, but it is not pathetic for them to get angry when you say "it's not cool, it's not heavy, it just. Fucking. SUCKS." Also no one is silencing you, I was just saying that maybe you should watch what you say before you say something downright sucks again, because some people might not like hearing someone say that something they like is bad.

PS If you don't care who is offended, then why should anyone care if your offended by one song, which to my experience isn't played that much.

PPS Thanks for the song, but it's not my kind of music.
