For my birthday a few years ago, I got a considerably expensive silver Seiko watch with timer, alarm and date, all in analogue and with glow-in-the-dark hands. It's not just for telling the time. ^_^

I simply find it so much easier to tell the time on it, too, rather than find wherever my phone is at any moment in time. And as long as I don't drop it under a moving vehicle or something, a watch like this will live just as long as I do (excusing those rare battery changes and strap repairs).
I rather love this watch. :D

Oh yea. And I'm only 19, turning 20 this year.

EDIT: Ooh, found a pic for it.
Good God that's pretty.

Double-EDIT: Also, this.

Wristwatches are far more useful than the modern timepiece, the phone. It almost a regression to old fashioned pocket watch to have to reach into your pocket. It can also be very obvious and rude to do so. With a wrist-watch you can give it a sly glance.

I wear a wrist watch all the time, except it's not on my wrist, because I train in a hospital and anything on your arms can spread MRSA. I have it looped around my belt at the same spot as my ID. I need it for counting pulses and stuff.

I do, although admittedly I check my phone for the time more frequently than I do the actual watch. Go figure o_O

I wear one, and I'm only 16, although most of my friends have phones if they need to know the time.

I have a dual time wrist watch. A digital clock in the back and a analogue face up front. I like wrist watches, especially analogue. They feel refined and I like the way they feel against my wrist. My dad wears a wrist watch which he received from his dad so I hope that one day I'll inherit it.

Plenty of people wear wristwatches, and your conclusion that only old people wear them is absurd, kind sir.

And in all honesty, I wear a pocket watch too. shit is WAY too cash to not be worn

No, I don't wear wrist-watches even though there's one on my desk in arm's reach. BUT I also don't use my phone either, (I know; bad habit) so I just ask my friends or someone close to me for the time. Or you know, the clock in the room.

I used to have a wrist watch.

Then the Temporal Police confiscated it.

I fought the law, and paradox won.

The first thing I did with a recent financial windfall was upgrade my watch from a bargain 'Solus' piece to a nice Diamond series Bulova. One of the best wardrobe investments I've ever made.

I used to wear not only a wristwatch, but a bunch of different wristbands (thought it was "punk" in my early teenage years...ugh...yeah it's as sad as it sounds) but now, partly because of that, I can't stand having anything strapped around my wrist, it just bothers me to no end. Instead I just use my cell to tell time.

There is nothing better that says "I'm a classy pretentious bastard!" than a glossy metal wrist watch. Well, maybe talking on the phone loudly but that's irrelevant to the point.
So yeah, I still wear them. Besides, they make your wrists look thinner ;)

Just got me a new one.
It's handy, not having to go scrounging in my coat to find a phone to see the time.

I wear a twenty-dollar watch that manages to survive what I put it through for at least a year. Admittedly, because I'm allergic to any metal that isn't silver or gold, I have to cover the back with something to keep it off my skin, but I like being able to tell time without pulling out my cell phone (which I'm not supposed to have while I'm at work anyway).

I wear one pretty much every day. It's more convenient than fumbling in my pocket for my phone and it makes me look classy. And, from my very biased opinion, I can say that people who hate wrist watches are just jealous that they don't have that same level of class.

I wear a wrist watch because I have to coordinate people's breaks at my job and I can't have my cell phone there.
