Well I'm in a somewhat isolated area. I'd probably protect my family, meet up with my uncles and cousins to survive, then find any friends.

There are a fair few guys here I predict being the ones that take advantage of the lone girls (there's always those guys.) So I'd probably be the one that shoots them.

I'd be the guy who uses the short time available to me to rescue as many of my loved ones as I can, then lead them on a journey to the safest place possible, which around here is the Aran Islands. Unfortunately my girlfriend lives on the outskirts of the city and I'd have to go into the heart of the madness to save her, so if I was to meet a tragic end, it'd be early on in the outbreak.

With that in mind, there should be an option for the guy who gathers his friends and family together, and co-ordinates them to use their best skills and work together to survive, lets call it the group leader.

group leader is kind of a hero

I think hero kind of suggests that your like Frank West, where you kick zombie ass while everyone else just huddles together and look scared. In a zombie apocalypse I'd be relying as much on some of my friends skills as my own (my dad can fly a plane, my best friend is a mountaineer, that kind of thing). A group leader is someone who can deal with a crisis and has some of the skills to survive, but uses the skills of others to help him, while helping them with the skills that he has.

I'm actually kinda serious about this, I think I would be the guy trying to save people and stuff. So I guess "Hero" will do for now. Though probably one like the guy I played in Fable: The Lost Chapters. I will always try to help, but if it's my life or yours, you're a dead man.

and if you say 'well thats invalid cos its science.' they also did 'Scientific Reasons A Zombie Apocolypse Can Happpen'. also, the best plan is to stay indoors and fuck everyone else. so, none. while you all run around killing zombies with your 'awesome katana i bought on eBay srsly dude a fuckin samurai used it!'
