Yeah yeah I know technically Sony's Press Even isn't over yet but I think most of us who have been able to watch them live have a pretty good idea in thier minds who in the end will walk away as the big winner. So my question to you is who of the Big 3 won based on the strength of thier Press Event?

As for me. Even though I only own a 360 which you would think make biased to Microsoft, I can't say they won as they underwhelmed with thier show this year. SO Im gonna swallow my pride and give it to Sony

EDIT: for everyone who thinks it should be an option I added a "nobody" choice

You state that with such confidence. So much so that your statement lacks any discussion.
OT: I don't know anything about E3 yet so I gots to go get educated.

I've not seen Microsoft or Sony's conference all the way through, but from the sounds of things they're both showing off casual stuff whilst Nintendo's jumping in with new Zelda, Donkey Kong, Kirby, Kid Icarus, etc.

If you saw E3 you would know that their statement needs no discussion. It just is.

Nintendo. They announced about 20 new games as well as the new 3DS. Microsoft and Sony's biggest news was the motion control Nintendo has had for years.

Nintendo. I'd love to say Microsoft but I couldn't have cared less about Natal/Konect and that was the majority of their press conference. For me Nintendo stepped up this year, minus the dodgy and cringe-worthy Miyamoto Zelda incident.

It looks like Nintendo's biggest thing is a new DS. Not to be an ass but... Who cares? And I don't see why people are excited about more Zelda it's like the Stephen King of video game franchises.

Nintendo won this year. They started strong and had so many great games to show.

Microsoft was great at the beginning but relied too heavy on Natal and showing off Wii knockoffs. Great technology though.

While Sony are showing too many montages and snippets and not enough of actual gameplay/trailers. But the end was great and Kevin Butler had an epic speech.

I am now doubly sure about picking Sony. A brand New Twisted Metal(and it looks INSANELY awesome) and Infamous 2 were just announced. Dammit I wish I had a PS3

I say Sony won. MS spent way too much time on Kinect and didnt show off anything sick on it. Sony did a much better job this year. Feels good to own both systems. Way excited for everything now.

I can tell you who didn't win. Nintendo!!!!! Because rereleasing the same game for the Xth year in a row doesn't count! That and Valve... getting everyone hyped up just to tear the rug out from all our feet and say "Look gaiz! P0r7al 2 on PS3! LAWLZ". Pretty much fuck Gabe right now...

Over all though I was rather underwhelmed by microsoft. They need to get off this whole motion sensitive thing. Once they make full life like holographic simulators i'll get interested, but for now give me a controller and a great game.

Sony... well they don't have much in the way of exclusives, and that stupid move thing... Pretty much the same opinion as with Microsoft.

EDIT: As a side note: Executives, get better writers. That or, you know, a heart... or sense of humor...or both... (basically they all suck at being funny)

Now Epic! There's something I can get behind!!! That gameplay demo of Gears 3 was awesome. I'm going to rage break so many controllers trying to beat it on insane, but it'll be a nice ride.

Nintendo. I'm shocked that I'm saying this but yeah, Nintendo. The 3DS actually looks like it's going to be a brilliant console, and the game line-up for it looks sooo promising! I thought the DS, in terms of it's game library, was a failure, but the 3DS looks like it's going to have the magic which the GBA had
And a Zelda which has the combined style of TP and WW? I'm sold on that as well

I'm still really excited about Dead Space 2, MGS:Rising, Gears 3 and so on, but Nintendo still stole the show. Well done, Nintendo!

Sony won in my opinion. If they had shown Resistance 3, it would have been even better though.
