I'd say Sony and Nintendo were realllyy close.

Sony bored me a lot talking about Move and 3D 3D 3333DDDDD for way too long. Noone gives half a crap about 3D.
They pulled back towards the end with some awesome games though.

Then Nintendo got me hyped a ton more with a load of awesome looking nostalgia'y games and a suprisingly good looking 3DS.

To make it simple i'm just gonna say they drew... for me ;D

I would say Nintendo won since it turn the nostalgia wheel in full force. EDIT: Donkey kong country is back so I say Nintendo won.

Yes, I'm a Donkey Kong country fan.

To be honest, I went into this rooting for Microsoft and hating Nintendo, and came out completely psyched for Nintendo and a little bit excited for Sony's Move.

I feel like Sony started off poorly, trying to pass themselves off as the end all be all of 3D technology, after Nintendo had just unveiled a handheld, that, judging from the Kid Icarus teaser, has graphics almost as good as the Wii (which isn't saying much for a home console, but is incredible for a handheld), and played 3D with various intensities, without expensive, uncomfortable, and stupid looking glasses. More than that, they used the word "ecosystem" way to much and way to erroneously when referring to their products. In the end though, Move did get me a little excited (mostly because of the Sorcery demo shown. THAT was cool).

All in all, Nintendo did well, Microsoft did meh, and Sony half convinced me to buy Move (I'd need to hear more before committing), and made sure that I would never buy their 3D crap ever (they came off arrogant and little foolish, especially after Nintendo's amazing performance)

Ubisoft had Child of Eden, Project Dust and Rayman: Origins so it was both the best and worst for me. Actually, MS was the worst.

I never expected it but Nintendo won by a long shot in my opinion. What's certain is that Microsoft made idiots of themselves.

I don't know who "won" the e3, but VALVe definitely lost.
How exactly? Because they're giving some games finally to the PS3....a deal that'll benefit both parties as people would sell many a right arm to play some valve titles on the black monolith. That isn't a loss, loss of exclusivity perhaps but nothing more.

Sorry but apart from Donkey Kong Country Returns and the less-realism-more-classic Zelda, I found Nintendo's conference a bit of a joke with it's constant rehashing of sport games.

But I did like Sony's approach. None of that statistic business, just straight down to the games and bringing the Sony Move into 1) a very enticing price and 2) crossing the border between casual titles and mainstream game support i.e. using the motion for more than just mini/party games. About time too!

I believe Sony had the most interesting content in its presentation, and there wasn't even any Last Guardian or Zone of The Enders...

its got to be Nintendo, Microsoft's kinetic was pretty cool and looked really accurate until that fitness game measured 5'9'' and 5'7'' for the SAME PERSON, so thats just as inaccurate as the Wiimote (I would have said more if it wasn't for the Zelda thing). Sony pumped out a lot of exclusive "content" but not many exclusive games and tbh I could care less about some generic FPS's and grimy gory twisted metal. Also there presenter was as boring as drillbit

No, Nintendo's gave the gaming community what they have been wanting for a decade, and more its easy enough to call them rehashes, but the fact is that just because they are using the same characters does not make them the same games - In fact all of them (with the exception of wiiParty) looked original and fun with a kick of nostalgia.

Nintendo. 4 words.
Donkey Kong Country Returns.

That was so amazing on all levels that my nostalgie meter commited suicide.

Of the 3 main conferences, it has to be Nintendo by miles. So many absolutely stellar games in their lineup, they gave fans everything they wanted (except Pikmin 3 of course) and more. Honestly, who expected a new DK Country, Kirby or Kid Icarus game? Not only that, but they announced what could be a terrific new console too. It wasn't even close regarding quality of conferences this year.

Nintendo. I haven't seen Sony's yet, but I really doubt they can beat the 3DS. Best Nintendo conference in a long time. The only way Sony could beat it is by doing a God of War style PS3 version of Sly Cooper...

It's an inherently pointless argument that will only lead to fanboys declaring their company the winner regardless of logic and hating on the others for not being their company. That said as someone who watched all 3 I found Nintendos by far the strongest with Sony in 2nd and Microsoft dead last.

Nintendo just by releasing a new Kid Icarus. That said, if Sony had brought in some Giant Enemy Crabs to demo Move, they would've won. Microsoft had no shot with that Kinect crap (and I own and love my 360).

Before or after Zelda had a seizure on stage?

I don't think anyone did particularly swimmingly this year. Most of the exclusives that anyone cares about have already been announced. I suppose Nintendo does have the most stuff coming up with Kid Icarus, Metroid, and Zelda, but most people have stopped giving a crap about the Wii anyways.

Between Microsoft and Sony... eh, neither of them had any big announcements, so I guess it just comes down to Gears 3 vs. Killzone 3 and Kinect vs. Playstation Move.

If I could pick whoever I want, I'd say the third party developers won, because we get a lot of good games coming out this year, including New Vegas, Crackdown 2, Dead Rising 2, Fable 3, and all the other new IPs that have just been released. I personally am really interested to see about Ubisoft's "Dust" coming up.

If I HAVE to pick, I supposed I'd go with Microsoft simply because they have Fable, and god knows what I'll do for Fable.

It looks like Nintendo's biggest thing is a new DS. Not to be an ass but... Who cares? And I don't see why people are excited about more Zelda it's like the Stephen King of video game franchises.
It's not a DS! It's a Sequal to the DS! You don't call the PS3 a PS2 or PS1, The 3DS is a new System itself!
