Now first off, the tea leaves would have massive strong holds through out: Great Britain, China and India (the major tea leaf zones).
The coffee beans major strong holds would be in: Brazil, America, and Russia.

Now assuming that hot water doesn't kill them, who would win a war between tea leaves and coffee beans?

There would be many casualties and it would be a long battle. But one thing is certain.

Java would ensue.

both are great for drinks, alcohol mixes well with both " depending on what your mixing with".. both make great exfoliating soap, as well as other countless uses.. so it really would end up a stalemate.

The russians would develop a boiled water bomb and nuke the tea leaves with it. Coffee beans win.

Gentlemen, I believe there is a simple answer to this.
All you have to do is ask yourselves: "Which is more British?"
And there you have your answer.
You are welcome.

Tea my drink of choice

I'll go completely girly and say that I only drink whole leaf Strawberry Cream Green Tea and have gotten everyone at work hooked on it.

Coffee beans may have the physical advantage, but the tea leaves are cunning, clever fiends.

At the end of the day we all know that the strategic genius of Earl Grey himself would foil the advances of Colonel Kenco.

Tea wins. Jolly good show.

Coffee. All the coffee beans have to do is jump up and down on the tea leaves, crumbling them to bits. Coffee beans would just laugh is the tea leaves did a similar attempt.
