My friend and I had this debate last week. I vote Alex.

Alex's disguise ability would allow him to escape whenever he felt like it, his heat vision would allow him to keep track of Cole at all times. Alex's agility would allow him to evade Cole's attacks and Alex could simply throw a tank at him. Cole attacks wouldn't kill Alex in one hit whereas Alex could impale Cole with a ground spike, not to mention the devastators.
