Yeah, Chronos already tried that. Kratos sawwed open his stomach and then plunged a sword into his forehead.

This isn't death, this is being absorbed by a being that breaks thing down on a molecular level and then incorporates its strengths into it's own being. And Chronos isn't Alex 'Zeus' Mercer. This guy can shield his entire body, expand and contort it into insane creations. Oh and there's ther fact that Blacklight isn't solid, it's liquid if it wants to be.

Kratos has no chance against something that has absorbed the collective strength of an entire city.
