Poll: Who would win? Samus Aran or Master Chief?

I came to a realisation while reading a hilarious thread over Space Marine vs Master Chief. These comparisons are impossible (not saying no one else knows that but hang on) because they need you to incorporate two different science fiction suspension of real-world physics rules systems. These systems aren't even consistent ANYWAY, so good luck being objective. For example, the MC can survive entering the earth's atmosphere and crash-landing to ground but dies to standard weapons fire. What?
Another big problem, as you can see from the example, is that there's often a difference between the fluff character and the game character. The first is always impossibly cooler than the second.
This is a long-winded way of me saying I haven't played a Metroid game since the original so I can't say either way.

I hope it didn't take you too long to figure that out Saskwach. That's basically the point behind any X vs Y (no pun intended) battle. The point is is that they probably wouldn't have met, been able to meet, or existed in the same continum or reality or at least area, so it's asking to compare different imposibilities and predict the outcome.
i personallt think samus. with all those abilities chief wouldnt stand a chance. however this is an AMAZING peice of animation that answers the question, with lots of amazing action and matrix-style animation. http://www.gametrailers.com/player/usermovies/57998.html

sure M. Chief COULD use a sniper rifle and mines at a 2 kilometer range, but if they get thrown into an arena then technologically speaking, this would be like comparing wolverine and hulk. no mater how cool wolverine is, he wouldn't be able to do much against hulk.
BUT, going completely off topic now, I would like to see THIS fight: Bruce willis vs Chuck norris! THERE you definitively got a "clash of the titans".

I'll go with Samus on this. Even if Master Chief were able to finally desrtoy her armor he'd still have to tangle with her in Zero-suit. (Where have I seen this thread before.... *cough)
