Huzzah! I completely agree with everybody who voted so far. So, well done other voter-guy, great minds think alike.

For the record, it's "only my close freinds". I don't want to make a big deal out of it, but I still want to share with somebody.

I wouldn't tell anyone. But I'd show everyone. Because I'd be fabulous.

My fiancee and parents.

I wouldn't trust anyone else with that information, not even my sister and friends.

I suppose it depends what the power is too, something like mind control is very easy to hide, while Spider-Man like powers, not so much.

Everyone must know....

Be hard to take over the world if I didn't show them.

And with my new world ruling station I can change the world for the better ..... free beer on Liverpool's match days (mainly because us supporters need to drink away our bitter tears of frustration).

Only my close friends, and one of my sisters.
This has got me thinking about what they'd think of the whole idea now.

Also this, it very much depends on the superpower.
If it was mind control, this would lead to quite a conundrum.
Do I tell everyone, and risk them not trusting me because they have no idea whether I'm manipulating them or not?
Or do I keep it a secret, only for them to inevitably find out and not trust me due to hiding it from them?
Hmm.

I wouldn't tell anyone because they would expect me to do stuff. I am so increadibly lazy that I would just not want anyone to know just to avoid doing anything. I think I put more effort into avoiding doing things than it would require to do them

I suppose I'd tell one of my brothers and one good friend at least. But I would do everything I could to make sure it didn't go beyond them.

I wouldn't tell anyone, I can't risk anyone betraying me when I begin my plot to remove all the things I don't like from the world.

It'd be hard to hide my hulk rage, I'd stick out like a sore thumb in purple boxer shorts. No one can no.

Assuming we get to choose powers, I'd tell close friends. Because I'd have invisibility or time control, and then they wouldn't freak out too much when I was having fun. Woo!

On whatever power it is, I wouldn't tell anybody, mostly because I don't like to bring attention to myself and I don't really have any close friends to tell, but it's actually very likely that I'd just act like whatever power I had is perfectly normal, so I may accidentally end up showing people accidentally.

My best friend only since he's more into comicbooks than me so he would give me some guidances (avoiding superhero cliche) about being a superhero that is once his jealousy has died down (he would so be annoyed that I got it and he doesn't).

I sincerely hope you meant 'flying'. The alternative is somewhat..gruesome.

OT Personally, I don't think I could keep it in. I'd be going up to randomers just to show off, I'd use them at even the flimsiest excuse. It'd be awesome!

Although I have now made myself sad that I can't actually fly. *sigh*

Well es I did, but still as far as some people are concerned I would still go with flaying. I am a nice guy generally speaking but if say i was to run into a Glenn Beck, an anti gay rally or a group of Klan members perhaps i would have some blood on my hands... and the rest of my body.

No one, absolutely no one. Keeping a secret like that becomes exponentially more difficult the more people become involved.

In point of fact, if I chose to use "superpowers" in anything resembling a public manner, my first move would be to cut ties with everyone I know and bury my past as hard and as deep as I can manage.

I'd probably do my stuff in front of them, but I'd never outright tell them. That'll spoil the fun.
