Wouldn't tell anyone, though depending on what the power(s) is(are), then it might be difficult to hide them for long.

I really wanted it to be about someone you killed. So I could say Mama.

It kind on depends on the power. I would most likely only turn close family.

I'D TELL NOBODY!

Hell, it'd be bad enough to have people possibly betraying my secret out of spite or some greater profit, even worse if someone used the knowledge of my identity against me or my loved ones.

The Chief reason though? In this sue happy world of ours, i would NOT want to let this secret get out cause...i REALLY don't have to want to keep paying for all the damages i'd likely cause in my crime-fighting (Considering I'd likely go Anti-hero route). There's a reason people have secret identities, and that's one of them.

Probably no-one. Strict need to know basis. Why, supervillains? No. People wanting me to do stuff? no. All governments crave more power, and somewhere in your body, you could have the secret to super soldiers, you can bet if they find out they'd want you to study and exploit.

The government. Give them some way to replicate my abilities and then I can live my normal life scott free.

Depends on the powers. If they'd basically made me a god, I'd let everyone know (or feel). If it was anything less and especially if it had severe drawbacks or weaknesses I don't think I'd tell anyone.

I'd tell no one. People around me would probably find out sooner or later, but only the hard way. And they wouldn't live to tell about it.

Well, considering the implications of super-powers being... accidentally.... triggered in the bedroom, I would have to tell my boyfriend. I would tell my dad, if that didn't also entail telling my mom, which would not be wise. She would just worry about everything and can't keep a secret. I could tell my brother, and a VERY small number of other people. I have a total of seven people I would tell, people who I trust and who Need To Know. Powers-knowledge is on a need to know basis only. Now I'm going to spend all night designing a disguise that doesn't obstruct vision or movement. And isn't flammable. Damnit.

Invulnerability and/or Immortality? Then the entire world would be my plaything. I would become akin to a Daedric Prince, and all of you humans would be my servants.

Can die from earthly abilities? Then yea I'm just telling my friends.

It depends whether I have the power to change butterflies wings' color, or be Dr. Manhattan. And if I'm the only one with said powers.

Certainly not public knowledge, only for a few people, but I wouldn't worry about it too much. No one would believe it anyways.

I'd only tell close ffiends.
Although I'd imagine that if I was really pissed with someone and my powers were offensive, I'd probably end up using it on them.

depends on the super power if it,s nothing really special (like accelarated/improved healing)I would tell everyone if it,s something like Superman I wouldn't tell anyone since crooks or governments would want me dead.
