I'm not getting it. It's an FPS, so it will automatically suck to me. (because they're just FLOODING THE GENRE AGAIN. DAMNIT.)

Also, it's way too expensive.

I am going to get it at some point, but I want to get it used or some other kind of discount. I'm also going to get some reviews because IW says it will cure cancer and end world hunger, but have my doubts.

Hype is so unfair...

Might be getting it some time next year. The only game that's a must-have to me this year is Left 4 Dead 2. Plus, I'd rather get MW2 cheap and most importantly, pre-owned. I'm not making Activision a profit, hell no.

"when it gets cheap"

Modern Warfare 2 will take an extreme amount of time to be even close to "cheap". Just look at Fallout 3. The game came out about a year ago, and it's still 60 bucks for a new copy.

There really is no reason for me to waste money on it.
I've never heard such blasphemy. Max, go to your room!

No I'm not getting it
1.) I don't have any money
2.) If I get it for anything other than my xbox ( which I scarcely go on ) my friends will kill me
3.) I wouldn't buy it anyway

I voted when it's cheap because $60 is too much for any game, and COD 6 doesn't seem too innovative.

I'll get it at some point. I like the first game a lot so no reason why I won't by the second game. A good game is a good game afterall.

My reason for buying MW2 is simple, I have loved all of Infinty Wards titles so far and since MW2 is the sequel of one of my favourite games I find no reason to not buy it on release day.

I'm not really into FPS' and Shooters, i prefer RPG's or Sandbox games so i won't be getting this game. Unfortunatly, all the people going on about it in my class' will. How can they not know of Dragon Age Origins? It's GONNA RULE.

yea someone is confused. COD 5 is World at War, Modern Warfare 2 is technically COD 6
Well, if you're going to be technical, it's actually COD 7, because there was COD 2, and then there was COD big red one.

I think I might be one of few people to buy the game for the campaign...
I mean, of course I'll play the multiplayer, I'll play it like mad. But most everyone here seems to just see it as another multiplayer FPS, which it is, don't get me wrong, and then overlooks the campaign completely. Besides, who knows what DLC they'll make. Nazi Zombies, believe it or not, evolved the FPS category to a whole new standard. If they keep making generic FPS's, eventually they'll create another amazing aspect to explore. It's somewhat like the monkeys and the typewriters saying.
