Adam west is a joke. He may have best portrayed Batman as he was before the 80's comics, but Kevin Conroy overall has always embodied Batman to me.

I have a love/hate relationship with Christain Bales batman. On the one hand he sounds like he has throat cancer. On the other...

...it's scary throat cancer. He's one of the few to get that Batman is a scary mother fucker.
Basically this.

I've seen all the Batman films, and honestly, I guess I'm reachin' out more towards Bale's Batman, but his is definitely not perfect to say the least.

adam west was the most ridiculous, crazy batman. but as far as actual character acting and ability to relate, i have to go with michael keaton. batman's a serious guy, and he's not taken seriously when adam west plays him.

Without a doubt, big daddy is my favourite batman, and he isn't even batman.

Thats the armor I would want in a zombie apokolyps, uneless there is fire everywhere.

Did you know Nicholas Cage almost played Superman in the 90's, but the movie was scrapped(thankfully)

Nice to see at least someone loves Bruce Greenwood. Under the Red Hood is shockingly good, especially considering it doesn't have the voice talents of Kevin Conroy or Mark Hamill. Greenwood was a damn good batman, certaily deseveres more love that Clooneys getting.

"Quick Robin (wait for it!), hand me the Bat keyboard!"

Adam West. There was never another like him.

Kevin Conroy gets my vote. I loved the Warner Bros Batman series more than any of the previous shows or films.

I voted for Michael Keaton because he really did play a great Batman. He was completely unbelievable as Bruce Wayne, but his Batman was great.

Val Kilmer played a good Bruce Wayne, but his Batman was just godawful.

George Clooney really is a great actor. He's charming when he needs to be and he can be deadly serious when the role calls for it. I think he could have been a great Batman AND a great Bruce Wayne. The problem is that Batman & Robin is a poorly written, incompetently directed, cinematic abortion.

Christian Bale: I love his Bruce Wayne, and the fact that both of the recent Batman films have played up that aspect of the character really makes his performance shine. But his Batvoice...he's just trying too damned hard with the Batvoice.

Agreed.

Maybe he could have been a great Batman but the long and short of it is he wasn't, in the worst possible way.
