For me it'd be Crash, in my opinion the Crash games have the best characters, music and gameplay over the Mario and Sonic games. Sonic would come second I guess. What do you guys think?

Let's see, a character who is universally known and still has playable to awesome games, a character who has far outlived his shelf life and popularity, and another one who hasn't been in a game that was even advertised on TV or the Internet since I don't know when.

Sonic. He's making a comeback and I've stuck by him through it all. From Heroes to Black Knight. Sega got it right with Sonic 4 and Colors. I always loved Sonic's music and gameplay.
Mario is just awesome, I don't even know how to explain it but he's games aren't exactly deep but they're very fun.
I wouldn't be surprised if Mario is getting crushed, seems everyone around here hates him.
Either way, at the end of the day Mario is the king of games. Everyone can say their own opinions, but it's kind of like Queen, it doesn't matter what you like, we all know who the king is.

Mario's also had some of the best music, though a couple of the Sonic themes really stuck with me.
And I prefer most of the Mario core titles in terms of gameplay. Plus, capes and raccoon tails to fly, shrooms to get bigger, fireballs, koopa shells, and yoshis oh my!

Mario, by far.
Crash was never that engaging of a character to me. He was okay, but not all that great.
Sonic is just okay. But his games are...well...not good. Except for Colors. That was actually pretty dang good.
