What does it say about me that I don't mind identifying that I watch MLP but have a bit of a problem identifying as anything that were to label me a "bro".aquaman839 said:I love these weekly polls. Where all the Bronies gather togather.

I refer to a post I made on this very subject not a week ago:Xanadu84 said:You think the fact that it is popular is scary? Try watching it, and genuinely enjoying it.
I'm scared out of my goddamn mind.

I have not seen the show. I am a 20 year old man living at college sharing my dorm room with another 20 year old man. Do you have any idea what that would look like were I to start watching...that?
...wait a minute.
I see what you are trying to do. This is another attempt to get me to join this cult isn't it?
YOU WILL NOT TAKE ME, FOUL DEMON!!

After watching some of it that's how I feel. Getting me to chuckle twice an episode does not equal awesome. It's good, for a kids show. Then again I never understood what made sponge bob so popular either so I guess this kinda stuff just isn't my thing.Bags159 said:I've watched it and I don't get it. It's not terrible, but I still don't see why it has the insane following that it does.
Even the old ones are no match for the ponies...FllippinIDIOT said:Ponies are unnecessary when it comes to the Great Old Ones. when they arrive you will forget all about ponies and you will revel in the freedom and fire that is the Great Old Ones.Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn

So...what? Not secure in your sexuality?Z of the Na said:I have not seen the show. I am a 20 year old man living at college sharing my dorm room with another 20 year old man. Do you have any idea what that would look like were I to start watching...that?
That you are secure enough in your sexuality to look past surface appearances and try to appreciate a show for more that what it looks like at first glance?Z of the Na said:I have not seen the show. Same here. I personally dislike that term. I'd prefer to just be called a pony if it comes down to it.Nimzar said:What does it say about me that I don't mind identifying that I watch MLP but have a bit of a problem identifying as anything that were to label me a "bro".aquaman839 said:I love these weekly polls. Nothing is manlier than stylized ponies singing a disney song from a children's movie about cross-dressing.Bags159 said:Without a doubt one of the best songs ever. Video didn't really fit that well though. My post is still manlier.
Spangles said:Hey dude, don't put the blame at the door of anime. This is entirely the fault of the internet.Kukulski said:Ponies? Seriously?
Is it some sort of ironic hipsterism or is this something anime does to people?
People have to feel a part of something or they start to get scared and everything even partway acceptable has been done.. so all that's left is just streams of brainless garbage like this.
