I've watched it and I don't get it. It's not terrible, but I still don't see why it has the insane following that it does.

After watching some of it that's how I feel. Getting me to chuckle twice an episode does not equal awesome. It's good, for a kids show. Then again I never understood what made sponge bob so popular either so I guess this kinda stuff just isn't my thing.

Y'know that Cthulhu pony actually reminds me one of the things I really like about Friendship is Magic.

The character designs. The older toys and shows made to look like the toys looked really unpleasant and derpy (not like, cute-derpy like Derpy Hooves. Just...derpy and stupid). These new ones with their more graphic look look like they were designed by someone who gives a crap (actually, the feeling of being made by someone who gives a crap is half the appeal of the show, given the subject matter).
