perhaps i will.. I'll at least buy it when i review comes out or a friend gets it.

Also this may sound incredibly stupid but i really want to see Yahtzee review his own book.

I'll wait for the reviews. While I enjoy Zero Punctuation (and usually Extra Punctuation, too), I remember some of his stories he used to put up on Fullyramblomatic. Hemingway he isn't. But I'll give Mogworld a chance if it gets good reviews, I don't have any reading planned for August/September anyway...

No, I don't like reading, unless I have to, i.e. RPG games. Reading books in my eyes, is boring, I don't mind manga's they are simple & have pictures to keep my small attention span occupide.

pre-ordered.
1) can't really go wrong with a 7? book.
2) is about the thing i'd usually read (will go right next to Nietzsche and Plato 8) )
3) it's cheaper than the lottery, and more likely that i'll be happy with the outcome :D

btw, pre-order saves me a whole of 0,39?, hooray

I'm waiting for the audiobook version in which Yahtzee will read it to me himself, free of punctuation.

I'm not going to preorder it because I don't have alot of money to throw around at the moment. I'll get it, eventually. Just might not be right when it comes out. I have too many books I have yet to read as it is!!! Le Sigh, must stop reading forums and start reading books!

A review will be needed. Now that he's entered into the artist's realm, I will treat him with the same scrutiny as every author I read. He might be another Pratchett, or he might let me down like Banks. Who knows?

Yathzee making a novel feels kinda odd. Although he isn't the first critic to write a novel (ebert wrote a soft core porn novel once or twice). But it just feels odd. Like it's not possible this could be as enjoyable as his reviews. But is it wrong to not think the man is multi talented? He could have an unbelieveable range and his book could show that he is capable of many things and not just forced to forever camp in reviewing and never being the reviewed.
I say if you like reading and you like mr crowshaws work even so much that you like some of his fullyramblomatic stuff I think this book would be worth your coin. Me? I don't like books all that much and his doesn't sound like my cup of tea so i'll pass but please by all means other people buy it. And don't forget to make a review. Maybe someone really creative should review his book in the style he reviews things. Ya know. For a larf.

He has a good show, makes good points, but let's be honest.
Whatever he wrote can't top books like the Similarion or the Dark Tower series.
There are so many books I've yet to read so I'm not going to buy his book.
Wait, so you don't buy books because they're not better than the best sellers each time?

Wait, you expected his first published novel to be a best seller?

Wait, you're comparing his books to fantasy drama books?

I feel like I've got my head stuck in a revolving door of stupid. Thud, thud, thud...

Seriously though, if it comes out over here I may pick it up. Extra Punctuation is pretty amusing, so I figure this could be worth a read.

I'll buy, but not without knowing what the book is about. The story must be interesting, i won't read it if it just a mediocre plot and predictable character. Anyone know the premise of it?

I'll see if I find it in store. If I do, I'll read a bit, and if I like it, I'll buy it.

I've been waiting for that book since the first time I heard of it (some interview somewhere around June 2009). He's a great writer judging from his articles and I think it's a great idea for a book.

All I've heard is that it's about the life of NPCs. So er.. I guess the main characters will be NPCs.
